After watching some videos on VCC bo board repair I sent my phone to them. Any other shop would tell me to get a new one. My phone has data on there that I absolutely Need i thiught it was lost. VCC was able to revive it by replacing parts and retrieving data etc. It was amazing that they were actually able to save it. I work in Alaska and shipped my phone all the way to Vegas to have them work on it and I'm glad I did
I love all your format videos. I really learned a lot watching you. I'm currently practicing CPU swaps on iphone 7 motherboards. So far two failed attempts, but I'm going to keep buying donor boards until I can do it successfully.
from something that should be so simple, Apple as usual made a big future problem. why the f*** lock touch screen and also pair charging chip to another chip ?
last week had 2 of those a huge step forward for apple in terms of irreparable device 😁 , i retired all apples from my store won't sell this thing any longer , people must move forward and let this company go bust it does not deserve to exist
Hey Jesse, what Flux are you using and what are your thoughts about it? I currently have Chipquik and Edgar's Flux, but Im trying to find another one.... Easy to clean but also that it does not burn away as fast.
I had a question about panic logs… do panic logs always mean hardware issue or can it be a single time software glitch??? My iPhone shut down randomly one time and hasn’t had an issue since and the panic log doesn’t say anything about sensor array or smc… could this just be a one off? Jw cause I still have time to send this iPhone back and get my money
Please a customer brought iPhone XR to my shop and the history is not power on .i plug my dc power supply .trigger the power and prompt to 500ahm ,300a,200a,150a and back to 500a it keep on repeating.I diagnose the fault and it’s from pp1v8 s2 but the problem is I don’t know how to inject the voltage sir . I tried to but I can’t find any short circuit sir .please me 🫡 I’m from Ghana 🇬🇭 west Africa 🙏
More direct video without including splitting / reballing sandwich. The videos do look like they take a lot of time but always enjoy learning the new techniques and traps Apple adds to the repair community.
@@VCCBoardRepairs Thank you for your video. Are you happy with I2C T20 heater? It's pretty cheap in comparison to JC as example. I think, which one to get
it is only a bad charger problem or just using any Android USB-C cable can result in this problem. ?? Bad charger is a known issue on all Apple devises that "kill" charging IC if charging voltage is with too many spikes
@@VCCBoardRepairs I saw this problem already with one of my friend's phones, he did not need data recovery. I'm still trying to understand if this is a charger problem or a cable problem, if Apple actually added something to the brand cable that only this cable will change without a problem.
From my technician experience, you always need a good cable (can be not original). The charger is not too important, of course if it's not the cheapest.
Hopefully some point you can replace the chip without replacing the EPROM by copying the data over from the original paired EPROM to a new one and then put the original one back on and just replace the glass chip. 3utools

That's amazing. Keep practicing!
Would love to see if a simple restore can fix the issue if data is not a priority.
I'd be interested to hear if that works
Clean work bro.
Appreciate it
Jeese why did you offer this only for data recovery if phone is fully functional after this repair ? thanks for sharing your knowledge
At that time, getting donor boards was really expensive

Sadly, i don't have the backstory to this. But I would suspect a bad charger or something
