The camera control button being attached to the housing is crazy and its glass so its guaranteed to break for some people. Apple cant add a button without making it impossible to replace.

To remove the battery from the frame you use a 9V battery.
That's very unusual, I couldn't tell if it's genius or inpractical.
Definitely much better than what Samsung and Google do.

I would have really liked to have seen the battery removed the proper way with the 9v battery. Pretty disappointing that you went at it without reading the repair docs first.
Yeah… Apple drops free repair manuals for the iPhone 16 and he refuses to read it before destroying the phone. This is the most reparable iPhone ever. And you can buy almost every single part directly from Apple. Scammers just hate they can’t use non-genuine parts to save a buck.

Interesting method to remove the battery. If you think about it, it's easy to remove with. Just conect that battery and clables and you're done. No need for alcohol or any tool that could damage de battery.
Been waiting for this! Its crazy the lengths they go to make things complicated that were simple before, but I guess its nice to be able to know if a phones has been or needs rapair. Not looking forward to having to gut the entire phone to change a screen.

Yeah… releases the full repair manuals to the internet and makes it possible to parts pair at home. They are selling almost every part in the phone on their self repair website. What more do you want from them. Consumers should know if their repair shops are using genuine or knock off 3rd party parts.
