Joyce, you have blessed me today. I have several craft minded friends, we all do different things yet appreciate each other’s talent. It took me 63 years to feel comfortable and confident in my skills and talents. For the last few years I have made something for everyone in the senior center I frequent. I feel so blessed to be able to brighten someone’s holiday with my talent. The first year I did small prayer baskets, I prayed for the people who would receive the basket as I crocheted it. After the holiday I received a letter from a woman who received a basket. She had recently lost her husband yet found comfort in the basket. She didn’t know why yet wanted to thank me. I knew why, you know why…as I had done as the Lord asked me. I find so much joy in listening to you and your teaching. The Lords Word is so healing and inspirational. I find myself always listening for and praying throughout the day, keeping God in my thoughts. I honor and praise the Word with all my heart. I’m not perfect as God is still working on me, yet I’m blessing others with His Word when the opportunity arises. Thank you Joyce for being you 😊❤️🙏🏼

Hi, you know what, the easiest thing to do is being yourself. You don't even have to make an effort, because that is who you are. Trying to be someone else is difficult and tiring. Let us be satisfied with who we are the way God has made us. Glory to God Almighty.
She's an excellent motivational speaker. Joyce, Joel and Victoria would make excellent therapists.
I try to freed myself from fearful childhood. Many things I want to try to make myself ok. Love wins in the end.

You should just be yourself cause you have a mind of your own is because we're all different and the bible says we are created in God's image and likeness. Like me for example I wanted to be like my dad's friend being an economist like him not just having the same character and there is a good coincidence for him. In fact him he told me he is also encouraging me to be an economist and he was my mentor in my dreams. Just like his daughter is doing law like my brother also studied in the UK like him but in different institutions. So his daughter was really surprised that my brother is doing law like her and she found it funny

I can only correct what I need to of myself with God. I lived with myself long enough to ever get mad at myself at things I do or say. Come on Joyce! You unleased the longest topic I would argue about... 😂😂😂... Anyways that's your faith and I'll try to keep it short...
Saints: I knew them even before I could learn to read or write... I would jump with joy as a child doing these collection of Holy picture... Long story!!! My aunt failed to do the work for me, so every year Don Bosco's Madonna published a picture book with the history of saints which I waited the whole year to get on and read.. They stopped the book (of saints) when I was in my early teens... But that did not stop me... I would still (till date) collect their card with all saints and the book calendar with daily Mass reading... No one! No one!!! Takes that from me... Only my mom knows how excited I get waiting for the post to be delivered every year end... Even if I were out of town mom would collect for me and keep it till I returned... ONLY she knew!!
As to being oneself.. I cannot change myself at all nor can I obsessively be like anyone else... It's good!! But! But!! Whe n I reflect to each saint, there is something of them that's connected to my attributes... I may be doing something they did with or without my own knowledge...
As for the common people I'd like to give these examples...
Dominic savio: I know there is one in my life whom I'm expecting to be with for real as in my dream, but to keep his identity a secret for security reason, I did not mention in my dream, not dare decode it (hopefully, not sure, guessing if I had no control over my thoughts and I always tell the truth, but I tried to keep the identity out or from research)... He is good for various reasons and I followed one thing even before I knew his life... Table manners is for one not to spill food... But if I did, I will pick it up from the ground and eat, not throw it in garbage... I pick the crumbs left from the end of the pot (remaining), not waste it... There are many poor on the road who I have seen puck from garbage and eat, never waste food is a simple act one can follow from saints... But with pandemic I would ask for caution for what some evil doers did to me and my family, do not throw stale food in garbage, I'd rather flush it than get someone killed with contamination in food...
People are not creative... By looking in the lives of saints and Martyrs, one can know who all they serve the Lord God Almighty...
Joan of Arch: like her I have no female friends... And those females from school and college where at least not like other females (they were a mix of Independent and a female, unlike me, but somewhat tolerable)... Yes! She used the whole armor and I only the sword... I call it truth, because it cuts through any thing... Like David used only the sling shot without the armor...
Joan of arch had 3 to 4 who spoke with her as per history and one of them is St. Michael another favorite of mine, one cannot take his (Arch Angels) name without having to encounter my jealousy... Only places I find myself jealous is when some name of Mary or archangels is taken), I don't have jealousy to my surprise...
The reason is that I had jokingly written in a comment about reincarnation... Joan of arch is a common attribute which falls in many religions and all those females are in my dreams with their religious architecture/building to give me clues... Be it Catholic (Joan of arch), Sikh (mai), Hindu (Rani if Jansi), Muslims (aiysha) and rear of religion, I'm yet to discover... The common factor is these women stood in battle leading 300 to 400 men behind them to reclaim the kingdom or religious property... They stood alone as female, but on the lead , not less then those 300 or 400 men in valour... They are loners...
This is no challenge, give me a saint name and I will research (it's a surprise to me as well) and let you know what attribute of their's is in common to my life belief or behavior...
And yet! I believe I'm unique, calling myself as Alien like Jesus did... Complicated!!!!

Yes it's important that jelousy won't help talking about pastor Joyce and her ministry people are still coming it's getting bigger and bigger the More you talk the bigger it's going to get you want it to stop and stop now before it bigger it's like the more you attack her for being a woman pastor it get bigger and bigger and bigger lol
I do not agree, by what the Holy Spirit has made known to me through the Word, that it is right to encourage people to 'be themselves', instead of insisting that people become the identity God has purposed for them to be.
Throughout all Scripture referencing the gospel of or Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we are encouraged to literally deny all that we are and accept our identity in christ; to only seek to be like Christ, and never ourselves; to transform our mind and way of thinking from our old self into a Kingdom mindset.
There's absolutely nowhere in Scripture, as far as I know, that says we should learn to be ourselves and love ourselves, and not change. The gospel of sanctification in Jesus Christ insists the outright opposite!! We're supposed to be changing.
You refer to David and Saul's armor: the King James Version (which is the closest approximation to the intended meaning of the Word) says that David rejected the armour because he had not tested it (different from other versions which say, it's because he was not used to them...). This is not to imply in any sense that David was trying to be himself as he was not comfortable in the armour.
Indeed, as the KJV clarifies, he had not tested them, thus he'd rather go to battle with what he had tested: the hand of the Lord of hosts. He had no need of armor. He knew what would make the difference at battle, and it wasn't the armour. That's why he rejected it.
I know this message of yours has harmless intentions, and perhaps it is what most people would want to hear, but it simply isn't what God says!!
"People want to be free to be who they are". Tell me that's not where liberal movements like the LGBTQ arose. Christian's should be clear that the Gospel of truth is not what people's ears are itching to hear (2 Timothy 4:3), but a convicting challenge to the truth of the knowledge of God, that by His Spirit, He works in us who believe onto salvation.
You say your husband knows that you're impatient and accepts you for who you are; I might misunderstand, but if you are using this example to mean you accept that you're impatient, then of what role then is your life by the spirit, yielding fruits like patience? Like I said, I may have misunderstood you, but it is wrong for a growing Christian to say they accept the way they are that is contrary to life by the Spirit. Your husband should tolerate your shortcomings of impatience, but he definitely should not accept that is who you are!
Maybe this all could just be a miscommunication or misinterpretation problem, in which case I'm ever happy to be convinced that we agree. Otherwise, I cannot accept my understanding of this message.
