The greatest commandment is, you shall love the Lord thy God.
And the second commandment is, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Many preachers can talk that talk, but many preachers can't walk that walk.
The question is, can a preacher survive living in the streets for a year, without money, and without housing, and without family?
Do you think a rich and famous preacher is going to go door knocking, and preaching the gospel?
Did you think a rich preacher is going to sell everything and give it to the poor?

That a preacher _should_ give up his *_God-given_* blessings that are founded by *_God-given_*_ gifts?_ Are you trying to say preachers cannot survive living terrible lives like the one you described? I put my favorites Bible verses in my reminders to memorize because if I don't have my Bible with me, I have it in my mind and that way I have the sword of the spirit to protect me at all times🙏🏻

True biblical love is selfless, it’s sacrificial. Self love & self hate are both self centered. They both stem from fear & not love. Those who feel the need to love themself are fearful of lacking love. Those who hate themself are also fearful of not being good enough. God centered love does not fear but always trusts (1 Corinthians 13:7). God is love (1 John 4:7-8) & he is sufficient for our needs (Philippians 4:19). God is capable of loving us better than we could ever love ourselves, do not fear & trust Gods love is sufficient for you.
God showed me in a dream the importance of loving oneself. God made us and He loves us so we too should love what God loves and hate what he hate. Love our God with all are heart might and love our neighbors as we do ourselves. How can we love one another if we don't love ourselves?

@@ShepherdMinistry I don't trust in dreams or anything else over God's word but I also do not limit the many ways that God speaks to me and if it is through a dream His Holy Spirit inside of me will discern rather or not it was of God or not. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts not our thoughts.
@@chanellovely2836 God speaks to us with His word. We compare our dreams to Gods word to determine if they are true. Your dream goes against scripture. The Bible says to deny yourself. It’s not about you, it’s about glorifying God.
@@ShepherdMinistryWhen the bible says "lovers of self" meaning in an ungodly way. There is a love of self that is a selfish, self centered, conceded, proud, arrogant, inconsiderate and incompassionate to others that's not the type of love for ones self I'm speaking of and I don't think Joyce was speaking of either.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
Jesus Christ died so that we could have the opportunity to embrace and live fully in that love it is PERFECT! That love applies to ourselves and others. It is Who God is- GOD IS LOVE, Therfore if God created me and He lives inside of me I must love me because I love God who also lives inside of me.
I feel that if we love God as we should first then and only then will we be able to love ourselves and others with a true love.

Because Lillian Jackson HATED ME and she brought me into the world I am and have been just fine with ANYBODY not liking me❣. I think that's why I would tell my guy that it was okay if he wanted to marry another woman. It would hurt of course but his happiness is important to me😥💔.

Every day is a gift of God to have a new opportunity to start again and do things better and life is a gift to look for Him, to enjoy with our loved ones and to have the victory with Jesus over obstacles our problems and things we cannot control.
Meditating the Word, you can get to know God and see how He thinks and also see the Plan that He has for all of us. Obeying His commandments and applying His Word, praying having intimacy with God will bring blessings to our lives, healing to our bodies and miracles.
