  • If you follow these instructions and still have issues, try using bottled or distilled water. Some tap water/well water has minerals that affect growth. If you are soaking performance (hardened/ultra hard gel balls) you may want to control grow them
    GEL BALL / WATER RATIO (APPROX):
    10,000 pack / 8L water (1 GALLON)
    5,000 pack / 4L water
    METHOD:
    Step 1: Empty gel ball pack into bucket / container.
    Step 2: Fill the container with the correct water amount (add a little extra for better results).
    Step 3: Allow gel balls to soak for a minimum of 4 hours (Overnight recommended)
    Step 4: Strain the gel balls before loading them into your magazine.

      Eventually yes. But in an airtight container they should be good for about 2 weeks.

    Many of the gellets that came with my gel blaster hopper were broken & moist. I put them in water overnight, but they never expanded. Would that because they had gotten moist?

      What brand/model blaster? They should never be moist in transit. Except “Gel Blaster” brand does send a sealed hopper full of ready to use balls

    I have a unlocx v2 pistol, and it says 7.5 mm gels and only unlocx brand, but the are so expensive for so little so i bought amazon ones and they say 7-8mm, will they work?

      They will become more fragile and easily break and possibly jam up your blaster. Always drain the water

    I have a ex shot, hyper clutch gel blaster, but I want to make the gel balls more painful and shooting, how can I do that? Me and my friends are going to have a war with gel blasters and that’s the only one I have the X shots, hyper clutch gel blaster, it says it has a semi automatic mode, but I don’t know how to switch to it

      it probably only has a "manual" semi automatic mode. In regards to more painful gels - not with those blasters, they really aren't strong enough to use hardened gels. You just need better, stronger blasters

    I got a m416 gel blaster and the gel guns come out the magazine but When I shoot it, it struggles to shoot out and they break before impact

      Could be your gel balls aren’t soak properly, but if you have a mechanical magazine m416, they are pretty much the worst blaster model when it comes to feeding issues.

    But what happens if you leave them in for too long, I left mine for around 5 hours checked on them and they were fine although I checked another 5 hours later and they all shrunk again in the water . Can I reuse them? If so how long should I put it in the water? Waiting for the reply thank you so much :)

      They should not shrink again. 5 hours is fine for cheap gel balls. They will stop growing at 7-8mm no matter

      Yes. They glow great in the hopper and in the ground but I could not see them well at night even with green laser. I have some new ones coming from AUSGEL to try.

    i have got the gell balls and stored them in a air-tight plastic bottle.
    I put it in a magazine, ejected a gell ball indicating the slots are full, but suddenly its not allowing me to shoot still. EIther they are not grown out as they have to be or something's wrong. I discovered there is a tiny bit of droplets in the AK47 Gel Blaster hopper;
    this should not be a problem no? I cant really just use a tissue because the hole is small. I think that will just evaporate itself out right?

      Which blaster do you have? A magazine fed blaster? Is it a mechanical magazine? Some of those are just really bad and hardly work.

      Try using bottled or distilled water. In some places, the minerals in tap water cause issues

    Is it okay to just load about 10 to 15 gel balls in a magazine? Or does the mag have to be loaded up to its full capacity to use? I tried using only like 15 and it wouldn’t shoot. Please answer asap thx

      Filling the mag is always best. Also, are you using a motorized magazine or is it mechanical? If mechanical, you must manually Prime it each time you fill it. Some mechanical mags will always be inconsistent

      @@Mario_2k don’t worry about making an exact hopper full. A hopper is about 500 so if you have a 500 pack of beads that is easy. But otherwise make a slightly larger batch in a bigger container. Here is an approximate ratio: GELL BALL / WATER RATIO:
      10,000 pack / 8L water
      5,000 pack / 4L water

    My 7.5mm gel balls get to max 6mm diameter, i soak them more than long enough(over night, and have even had some for 3-4 days) with enough water(gel balls max half of the water level when already soaked through) am i doing something wrong?

      As long as they are 7-8mm gel balls for 7-8mm gel blasters. (95% of blasters are 7-8mm)

      No such thing as too much water. The beads stop growing at 7-8 mm (pretty much) so just make sure to drain the excess water after they sit 3-4 hours or overnight is fine too

      It should not. As long as airtight. I would suggest between 50-70f

      colder makes them harder and hit harder warmer more gentle

    I have a bag with 20.000 in them. How much water do I need in order to let them all grow to 7-8 mm?

      Just buy the correct ones. Don’t make all 20000 at once either unless you plan on using them quickly.

      Nothing. You drain the excess water after 4 hours or so, it doesn’t matter

    How do you know if your gellets are the right size? Cause mine look smaller compared to the video but maybe I took them out early or its just me

      @@kanyelevelup you can always refresh with water for a few hours prior to use but most say you should not leave them in water. The AUSGEL ultra elite gel balls can be left in water but those are a hardened performance ball and won’t work well in any blasters under 200 fps. My advice is to drain and store in airtight container. If they don’t get used for a week, add a little water prior to use an hour or so before and then drain excess water before using.

      SEARCH "GEL BLASTER AMMO" 99% will be 7-8mm. Hardly any blasters use any other size. If you can't find them, then they may not be available for your state due to state specific laws

      Airtight for a max of two weeks (if you plan on using them). They will “look” okay for months. I have some in a glass skull bottle for 12mos but I would not sue them. They would just break up, they become very fragile.

      Yes, it would be messy inside. Should not stain but they make a mess. They will dry up eventually. Definitely advise you only use outside!

      It is rare. Most likely your tap/well water has minerals/contaminants that do not work with the gel beads. In your case you may have to use bottled water or distilled water

      @@Turnerswiffleballlauge the vast majority of gel balls are 7-8mm size. That means they are between 7-8mm. It is very rare to find any that say they are one exact size only. Other sizes are 6-7 and then there are some large 9-10mm. So if you truly have some 7mm only or 8mm only that is very rare but they should work anyway

      Was there any leftover water? If not then you probably need to add more and give them more time. Don’t worry about using too much water. You will just strain off any excess water before using/storing them anyway

      The dry beads last forever. Unused, hydrated gel balls should last at least 2 weeks in airtight containers

      For what blaster? That is quite rare unless you are using a really high performance blaster that needs control grown gel balls. What gel beads did you use? If you bought random orbeez, those are not always the correct size

      If there was no water left over, you are simply not using enough water. Use more. Too much water is not a problem. They can only grow to 7-8mm. There should always be leftover water to drain off.
