@adan-ws7rc that is true, but I don't really care what brand it is. I still call xshot nerf and dart zone nerf because they all make blasters that shoot darts don't they?
Zuru did an excellent job this year. Their gel offerings are fairly priced, much better quality than their typical blasters, and very fun to use! I got a Trace Fire because I loved its design and high onboard capacity, but this one is also excellent!
A thing thats cool with this gel blaster is that it has a mag instead of a hopper .This would be my gel primary if I was into gel ball blasters,Btw I finally posted a video.
I got one here in mexico recently, it is actually the most economic and reliable option we have here (most of the gel blasters are aliexpress chinese guns that broke after 400 shots) i surely gotta get more mags for this babe
Hey my bro, nice tutorial well explained there♥, but could you tell me what the range of the bullets is in meters? like how far does it shoot till the bullet falls down?
Im an adult and suddenly Im totally into this...hate guns but love cyberpunk 2077 ..and this had to be the next step. Just ordered the xshot as my first ever nerf/gel style rifle. Now to go hunt for like minded people to play war with. Life is weird man.
You’re never limited to stock options….just 3D print an adapter interface for the stock you want ….you can hear the flaws in the angle of engagement of the pinion gear to the bevel gear….all the blasters at this level and price point are junk really with the exception of the gel zone stuff which have decent internals but shit plastics for the shells
The Unlocx blaster has MUCH better plastic quality, but besides that, I honestly prefer the HPG-700! It has a higher capacity, select fire, performance versatility, and a higher rate of fire!
Bigger issue is the Kratos isnt available, from what I checked. Targets site lists every option as unavailable. So while I would like a Kratos, or 6 for a party idea I have for friends next year, the 700 being 20 dollars cheaper and actually available kinda wins, for now.
@@foamquest Well Id be willing to pay the extra 20 each for the Kratos, cause the glow would be cool for after dark. BUT when you cant even buy them cause they are sold out or not out yet kinda makes the choice for you.
About time I was waiting for your thoughts on this blaster. It’s pretty good for the price being able to switch different power modes this easy make it better than the Surge Xl. If it had maybe little higher fps and glow in the dark with 3 round burst it would be a home run. I can also add my laser sight on the bottom rail pretty cool. Maybe you can check out the a X shot Hyper Gel Clutch pistol it’s also pretty good and accurate maybe you can compare it to the Nerf dual pistols.
Yeah, this one has a lot going for it! Very impressive overall! Maybe they'll make a revised version at some point! Yes, I'll have to take a look at the other Hyper Gel blasters!
@@foamquest Yeah sadly Xshot is targeted at kids mostly but I’m glad they are making their pro blasters stronger hope they continue. Also check out the Faction Havoc blaster shoots about average 250 fps has glow in the dark 3 round burst and even comes with lights a free target and other cool features.
Thing is this is Zurus 1st gen Gel Blaster. Gel Zone, aka Dart Zones gel, and others are on their 2nd or 3rd. Give Zuru another 8 months to 1 year and they will improve the design and add the glow in the dark to their design. Also the Walmart branch of Dart Zones gel line has a mini gun with glow in the dark, considering Zuru was first to make minis fun and semi good, and first to full auto powered foam mini, I expect them to do a Gel Mini in the 2nd gen and cant wait to see what they do. They will be coming HARD for Gel Zones offerings next year I think.
@@memnarch129 Yeah Zuru definitely has the people and resources to add all those things. I feel like they purposely left them out because they want to keep the price affordable. Most gel blasters with those features cost $80. The problem with these type of companies making gel blasters is they are targeted at kids so they can’t really make them too strong they will get sued. They need to keep parent’s trust that it won’t hurt their kids or else the parents won’t buy. Most parents already won’t buy these for their kids because they think they are dangerous. I doubt we will see improvements in the fps of these gel blasters seems like they have settled in the 200-260 for their best ones. So maybe they can improve in ergonomics capacity, accuracy, or make improvements to the ammo.
I mean, you could try it. But I have no experience with trying different batteries in this blaster. There's a chance that you could break the blaster, so proceed at your own risk!
Nice review. I will say the stock is like a torture device with horns sticking out of the top and bottom with tiny blades in between. Shouldering it tightly hurts.
Let me know if any of these things work! If they don't, we can try to think of something else! Worst case scenario, depending on where it was bought, you could return the blaster and buy a new one!
This variety can be pretty dang loud! It is an electric springer, just like the Stampede or Vulcan. Besides the sound, what do you think? Is this your first gel blaster?
@@foamquest its my first gel blaster and i didnt expect the whole neigbourhood to wake up when i shoot some rounds. Are all gel blasters that loud?Or maybe the more expensive ones from dartzone like pulsar are more "advanced" and quieter?
@6thsun25 Yeah, I would say most are pretty loud. I'd say the Dart Zone stuff is about the same. The only one that may seem quieter to me is probably the Nerf Gelfire Mythic!
Hello! The exact ratio can be the tricky part. But basically, just find something to hold them. (It could be a jar). And pour water in. Typically, a single pack makes more than you would think. (Something to keep in mind) Hope this answers your question! :)
