- It's wild out here folks.... but the 08 CBR1000RR is just TOO s3xy bruh...!!! Join for more.
I love 1000's.
5 months into riding boyz and girls. Beginner....? Depends on whose definition.
Day after I got the bike.
Ur hype kills me brother. Ride safe please
Yeah mine has to be topped off occasionally in between oil changes. It likes to drink lol I check it every 300 to 500 miles. Ride safe 🙏 God Bless
Good idea! I check mine like every 50 miles sheesh lol
how has the bike been lately? I have heard the 08s do have a common oil burning issue. I'm thinking about getting one also but little worried about that issue
Sheesh bro... yes, it does burn oil. Kinda sucks big time not gonna lie, because it's always a worry anddd it takes a while to PROPERLY check the readings for oil. Sigh... it's okay tho, it's WORTH IT!!!
Glad he got ya set straight!! My Harley had the same thing happen, it was an issue with the oil filter (wasn't on from a dealer oil change) so it was leaking out over time until it started having issue 😭. Thankfully nothing blew, just added oil and swapped some stuff and it was good!!
Sheesh!! Was it a visible leak? If that’s the problem I need to watch out for that
@@DonsGarage01 On my bike it was pretty visible, granted every part of the engine is visible as it's a dyna and has no fairings anywhere 😅
The 2008 unfortunately eats up oil .
That’s messed up, bike should of been topped off with new oil. My apologies, idk if my mechanic forgot or if there’s a leak? Did your mechanic check it for leaks?
So before you yell at your mechanic… 😂
My mechanic said “whoever put oil DID put new oil in there, bcus it’s clean.“
So I’m hoping and praying to God that it was only just a lack of oil rather than anything else 😅😰
But feels even more amazing to drive now 🤩
You have to check the oil daily. If you ride it hard you may have to take oil with you. I can hear in the video it’s out of oil
Ugh… it hurts to know that honestly. & felt very anxious every ride.
I’d be considering looking into getting rid of it and get either a later year model or newer. The 2008 will turn into a money pit
