I feel like.... the journey to the biggest and most beastly bike has been completed. So.... like... what's the rush to post now, y'a know? This video was made in August 2023. I'm posting it in December 2023. I've been riding boyz & girlz.

Sheesh bruh... Honestly though... I couldn't help but concentrate on the high RPM's (because of the age) and the oil burning. The Dipstick for the oil would never read exactly, and it was so tough to even get an accurate reading - You had to turn the bike on for 3 mins, then leave it rested for 3 mins and then check. Imagine doing that before every ride...SHEESH!! And my 600cc was a 2006 and ha...

very clean bike, prob my next pick up
Are you still alive?
I went from a 250 ninja to an old 83 bmw touring bike than to a 07 roadstar. First time I cracked open the throttle I almost got blown off the bike. I’m an extremely light rider so at first I was having a hard time holding on. I have since added a fairing which changed the way the wind hits me so it smoothed out the acceleration. Still pulls like a champ. And after putting over 20k on it I still react like this when I crack open the throttle. It’s such an adrenaline rush ripping through the gears on these bikes. I feel first gear is way too short but I understand why it’s geared that way. Love these bikes.
I JUST got a 2003 Roadstar with only 9,280 miles on it today!! It is a VERY big bike but also I feel like I sit up on it a lot more. I love the acceleration it has too, I can't wait to get many many years out of it
Wow... so blessed! 9,280 miles only! These bikes are gems! Congrats mate! 🎉
@@DonsGarage01I am assuming there is something wrong with it that I don't know about. The guy said it was his late father's (I believe him because he was getting emotional selling it but understandable) and he was only asking $1,900 USD for it and according to what I see it is blue booked at $4,840 so.... But I was also told by a buddy that they all have a factory recall to get a new transmission and possibly a top end rebuild? I am going to call about that tomorrow because if I just got a 21 year old bike with 9,280 miles AND get a new transmission and top end rebuild I am SUPER happy with that!!!
@@BeaverDunker That's... just incredible. And wow, mine was also passed down from family member! He was also very emotional selling it...
Thank you man. Im moving to texas in a bit and ive been wanting to get a bike for a while. Im 16 so im gonna get a car first but after that. This bike will be my first
Very exciting brotha! No rush, enjoy the journey!
just bought a 2024 310r for my teenage daughter to learn on. I have several bikes my go to is a Ducati corse. but the BMW is a pretty fun ride if you are not going to or need to go fast

Go Hard Or Go Home 100%%%%
Still thinking if I should switch from my 2020 Z900 to a 2009 CBR1000RR. No ABS and no TCR really sucks, but the sound is awesome. 🫠
I just found this bike i was gonna go with a really nice looking cheaper Chinese 200cc bike it's very nice and clean and has a following in america it's 2,900 this bmw 300cc is like double that so idk but so far by visuals and it's features and such it sounds like a great bike. Is it really folks???? First off the brake light at the end of the tail light thats a no no why would bmw do that instead of putting it right after the seat like normal sport bikes. Also a dam exhaust for sure either full exhaust or a slip on.
After what gear does it stop powerwheelying when hitting it as hard as you can? I had a k1 gsxr1000. Now back on a 600. Interested in getting a fireblade
I have a '22 and it feels like an all-purpose street bike. I have mine outfitted as a bagger with a big 'ol Dart Marlin flyscreen but also have a trackday scheduled early next month at Barber. It can do sportbike things, cruising things, and touring things. It's a great bike especially at its price point.
@@langhamp8912 that sounds beautiful! 🤩 and fully agreed for the price, powerful pretty bike!
I agree about the wind, xsr is the first naked i rode and was worried wind would be excessive but i barely noticed a difference between my full faired current bike on the highway
@@kwicksandz shocking! And a beautiful realization! 🤩 That’s cool that the XSR was also your first naked bike you rode! 🥳
2:07 the warning made me turn my headphones up, expecting to hear the bike scream when you pull off. But instead…. 😠😅

Assalamu alaikum bro. I've seen in the news police arrested a biker who went from denver to Colorado Springs in less than an hour and posted the whole thing on TH-cam. If i was you i would at least blurred the speedometer.
@@SyedAtaulHaque Walaikumassalam my brother. Jazakhallah khair for the good advice. It’s a lot of work, so may God keep me protected while on the bike and while off the bike, Ameen.
I've got 17000km on mine. Dude 300cc is enough for any type of riding, highway is fine if you're happy with people overtaking you. But yeah, as a beginner, buy a crap 125cc, then jump to 650's. Don't spend thousands on a bike you're going to sell in 3-6 months.
@@andreas.619 Yes. Different bikes for different styles of riding. My riding is more cautious and aggressive, which is why I said the statements I mentioned. Incredible bike, I want to buy another one just to keep for local roads!
Im deciding between used g310r’s and cb300r’s on fb marketplace(theyre easy to find with least distance). I dont really have to worry about the reliability and maintenance costs of hondas as much, but im not sure with bmws. Should I still look into g310r’s? because i really like the looks of them
@@namikare7967 Hey hey - yes buying them used is great, they have horrible resell value so you can pick them up for cheap. My bmw has been really reliable with service costs about 150 dollars. I would personally look for a 650 for cheap as a first bike. The 34 horsepower is a glorified scooter mate
@@namikare7967 The bmw is actually a indian TVS motor. So if you're smart about it you can service them at TVS dealers or other dealers. Don't go to bmw as they put massive mark up on consumables. They import the same parts from india. I know of someone who has over 100 000km on their bmw g310r
@@andreas.619 thank you

Congrats! I still look at this beauty in my garage and I'm unable to get myself to sell it... It's a piece of art, no doubt! We're blessed.
This kid better not ever buy a Harley or he'll probably drive off the road. 😅
Hell you talking about hahahaha
He'd probably drive off the road on a Rebel 250.
great video, & good talking points, i just purchased this bike aprox 3 weeks ago & its been a great starter bike. forgiving, versatile & comfortable. all my friends with naked/sport bikes always mention the comfort.

[this is just my thoughts on my own experiences and i thought they might help add to your perspectives] you might just be having TOO much fun from the rush of feel good hormones and adrenaline etc and are experiencing withdrawals. If you are surrounded by fun things (or even stress can cause endorphin release) 24/7 you will flood your system with these endorphins and other chemicals giving you amazing highs, but like any drug, eventually you will crash prompting you to feel depression creeping in and making you ask questions like "what is the point in anything" as the withdrawal sets in! (just because you aren't taking drugs doesn't mean you aren't pumping natural ones into your brain every day through your actions and environment! people forget that this is literally how our brains work) Allow the lows to happen because they just mean more highs down the road, and don't put so much value on the highs, the highs are just little peaks along our whole life so never chase that, you will never have a life that is ALL peak! peace and calm, feeling like you have enough, being at peace in your body and allowing the withdrawals to pass to find that balance and clarity again are the true living virtues. Give your brain a rest, move through the lows, and you will be surprised at the clarity you will find with a chemically balanced mind! IF you struggle to move through the lows, or if you find that when you do not have a distraction it allows uncomfortable feelings and thoughts/memories to arise, then there lies your next path forward in addressing those things that prevent you from being at peace. Hope this helps you get perspective, it helped me to think of this when I experience the ups (and downs) of life.
@@eliotsfm I love this! Never thought of me having TOO much fun. Very awesome perspective… I need to allow this to sink in and see how I feel about that. I DO feel at the back of my mind, that there is a further deeper purpose of existence rather than just having fun or living a “normal” life. The search for that… (maybe) remains.
@@DonsGarage01 Glad you liked my comment! and yes, I definitely also the deeper purpose feeling tugging at me from my guts, i know it is a yearning for struggle, for a fight, for something to push my way through, I think men have an enormous natural high willpower that WANTS and NEEDS a fight and it's in our blood. Just gotta find something worth fighting for now... :)
@@eliotsfm Try God, my brother! - Becoming the best versions of ourselves for Him. For me, a true purpose is to struggle for Him, everything else in this world will perish, but He never will. And with a struggle to better ourselves for Him, naturally by default, we then help the people around us, the community, and the world. Mentally fit. Physically fit. Emotionally fit. And Spiritually fit. The ideal man.

Beautiful bike. Where are those roads? Beautiful City
That was a GREAT REVIEW 'My Guy'!!! I been riding bikes since 1985 Legally (LOL)...I'm now 63, and younger and even older new riders always ask me what type of bike should I get? How many cylinders?, How many cc's etc.. I always tell them, it depends on what type of riding you anticipate. Get a racer for the track if you plan on racing or doing well over 100mph. Get a dual sport for the street and wilderness or dirt roads, get a middle weight (600 - 800 cc's) for the street & track blahh, blahh, blahh 🤠
