I want to start by saying that I love the fact that all of your clones have different personalities. It's one of my favorite things about your videos. Secondly as always I love you music keep up the great work. And thirdly BB King, lightning Hopkins, Morgan Freeman got to love that guy!

I can imagine that it takes alot of work to make such a music video (maybe even weeks?).
I like the fact that she is still doing it that way, although she could have stopped that "clone"-thing at any time (because of the increased amount of work involved).
It amazes me even more how she matches the vocal harmonies with the interactions, total genius!

Charlie Pride , listened to him while picking oranges in Florida during the late 60s ,early 70s. Many times my family was the only white pickers in the crews. We had some cassette of Charlie and played them while we worked. Many white pickers said they like his music and when we told them he was a Black Country music singer and they could not believe it. So we showed the cassette tape cases with his photograph . Many of them bought his cassettes. Since we were from California, we feel that in a small way helped them see beyond the color of some skin , to stand together for the joy of GOOD COUNTRY MUSIC. Google “Foxy” from Foxys bar in the British Virgin Islands. A prolific black, business owner/musician from the Caribbean, next door neighbor to the U.S. Virgin Islands. One of the best freestyle calypsonians I’ve ever seen, even into his 80’s. This mans genuine, infectious laugh, and amazing musical talent, may not have taught the world to sing, but definitely encouraged anyone that met him to do so. Love that guy. Black lives matter. People need to realize the reason the BLM movement is necessary, isn’t to say ALL lives don’t matter equally, it’s message is we are EQUALLY important and aren’t being represented as such. It’s not a racially exclusive group that doesn’t embrace “white America” It’s just a wake up call that skin tone still relegates certain people to be more likely to be subjected to police violence, lower wages, and less chance to win than their white equal, counterparts. Nobody is asking for elite, special treatment, we are just asking not to fear police, and the subsequent judicial system, if we don’t get murdered on the way home from work.

Being an official old fart who was in my formative years when this song was first a TV commercial for CocaCola, I thought of it just the other day as a mantra for the social unrest here in the USA Today. That being said, well done Anne!

For the listeners, remember promoting issues and causes is a fantastic start but YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE! It is your only way to mandate change!! It starts at the lowest grassroots level choosing like-minded people for pta, community and town positions, through state and national. The president of a city’s beautification society or school board council will progress and be representatives and senators! Power to the people and keep building a community of change!!!

Try the same tune with the words of Amazing Grace. Fits perfectly. When the song came out in the 70's we taught it to kids with the words to Amazing Grace. They loved it!
Ann with an E. Since I first discovered you I have really enjoyed your videos. Your talent is amazing. Today's video. WOW. I am SO, SO proud of you for taking the time to say black lives matter. While I am a white male, like you I think it is time for all Americans to unite together. Because of my age, I see a fuller picture than many people do. When I was a child a black man COULD NOT buy a new car. When speaking about Cadillac's, black men would say. "We may not own them first, but we owns them the longest." Sometime in the seventies, the Fair Credit act was pasted. When that happened black people could now buy a new car. I think most white Americans forget how bad the economy in 70's and '80s was. The fact that black people could now buy new cars, saved Detroit. Few if any will admit this.
There is an old saying. A rising tide lifts all boats. If everyone in America had the same chance, then we would get the very best minds in America solving many of mankind's greatest problems. Unfortunately, America does not work this way. Now we only get less than 1% of our best. That in and of itself is a sin against GOD. A mind is a HORRIBLE thing to waste.
I was speaking with a friend during the El Chapo trial. He was saying what an animal this Mexican was. I tried to explain to him, had El Chapo been born in the US white with blue eyes Jaime Dimon would work for him.
Our country will pay lip service to this event, however, it will not change. People want to get rid of the bad cops. Cops are like any other employee. They do what they are told to do. Some do it because they hate people who are not just like they are. One thing is for sure their unions MUST be broken up. They represent a clear and present danger to the safety and security of the people.
If any of us really want to see some changes in how your country works, there is only one way to do it. First, you need to move your banking business to a local credit union. Encourage local officials to do the same with your local government's money.
Next vote to replace every person on the ballot. It does not matter what party they are replacing them. Replace them all. The next election does the same. One term only.

I remember seeing a TH-cam video were a guy posted a "all lives matter" sign. He was attacked by African Americans for being racist.
Saying "Black lives matter" IS saying "ALL lives matter." But it's the Black lives that need support at this time. If your significant other was having just the most shit of days and came to you asking "do you love me?", would you answer "I love everyone!"? Yes, technically speaking, saying "I love everyone" is saying "I love you" but it doesn't offer that support that person needs right now, it doesn't tell them that they are important to you.
Are you really being kind to others if you never come down from your all-inclusive abstract, down to the person who especially needs some kindness?
So treat them as individuals who are in imminent danger of being killed by the police at any time simply because of their skin color, ethnicity, etc. Maybe work toward trying to put a stop to the extrajudicial execution of (generally) lawful, peaceful, individuals? Just a thought.

The only reason people have "BLM" signs in their yard is to hopefully reduce the chances of their house from being burnt down. TONS of black folks throughout history have had HUGE impacts on all of us. A performer that I just stumbled across a couple of years ago in a suggested video (the same way I found you) is Alex Boye. He does many great songs, but 2 I really like are "Liberty" and his version of "The Little Drummer Boy".

This song reflects the hope that many of my generation had way back when I was your age. New laws about civil rights and equal pay, Vietnam war closing, a new word that most had never heard before, Ecology. Our steps were halting and unsure, with things like quotas, token hires in entertainment, messages in shows like Star Trek, All in the Family, One Day at a Time. And yes, blaxpolitation movies, but hey, nobody really knew what they were doing. Somehow we lost our way in Yuppie early 80's, and it's clear the whole world won't be standing hand-in-hand anytime soon. Still, there was a little progress (when I was a kid, it was legal to have 3 pay scales, Male, Female, and Colored...), and the Vision of harmony is still valid. Folks my age are starting to fade, but I'm encouraged that Millenials do seem to have consciousness and care. Thank you for taking a stand, and trying to make a difference.

I agree almost fully, except when it comes to how to help if someone doesn't have the money or skills or time for a concrete contribution.
Sharing on social media is... Suboptimal. I think it is too easy to make a post and then think "there, that's my job done". I know that's how I feel sometimes. All it really helps is the social media companies and their advertisers and it quiets one's own personal conscience, but perhaps in times like these it's not the time for quiet consciences. These are loud times, so the quiet voices inside ourselves should be yelling at us for not doing enough. If they were doing anything else, we probably weren't raised right.
I dunno; I just felt bad for feeling good for participating in a hashtag instead of actually, y'know, doing something. So now when I've got an itch that something needs to be done, I don't scratch it with just a tweet or a comment or a new profile picture, I actually do something by giving money or putting up posters or just making a change in the physical world.
But yeah, all the other stuff was good. I just think it'd better to advocate for donations and votes than it is to encourage more woke virtue signalling. Only the advertisers and algorithms are benefiting from those empty gestures.

You pose a problem but don't really offer a solution. So how are people who don't have the resources or means to help supposes to help? I know plenty of people who would love to help but don't have the money or the time or there are just plain no protests happening anywhere near them.
The posters are an idea, but one that can have about as much impact as posting on social media. Which is a statement to the benefit of social media rather than the lack thereof of posters.
What I mean to say is, I don't think sharing on social media is an empty gesture made only to stroke one's ego, but if you do think so I would like to hear something a person without resources can actually do to help.
