  • Molly is often asking questions about how she, as a non-disabled practitioner, can work with people with learning disabilities in an empowering way, to create theatre that truly resonates with their identity. Many have argued that the presence of non-disabled practitioners within Disability Theatre dilutes the power of theatre made by and for people with disabilities. She turns this on its head and talks about how, when two groups that are so often segregated within society, come together, there is potential to create radical and thought-provoking theatre. Molly is a theatre facilitator working with people with disabilities. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
