Years ago when I worked for an engine and gearbox company in the late seventies when fitting them to vehicles we used an instant gasket that was red in colour and came in a lead tube and I’m sure that was silicon-based from what I can remember 🤔👌

You forgot to put the strainer on the oil pickup tube!

I’ve got to find a new one as the one I took off was bent, also the oil strainer fits into the side of the sump thank you for you comment and noticing.
