    I use a Massey 165 mark one,in the coldest weather 30 seconds of heater plug and away it goes,but always kept in shed.That has done well to start also.

      @@brianmarshall1637 This tractor has the STANDARD MOTORS diesel. Notoriously hard to start in all weather.

    Omg turn right just down the road from me it's nice to see a 23c across the Atlantic I love ummm just finished restoring my 1956 fe 35

    You may want to check the fuelpump timing. These engines have a chain driven camshaft and fuelpump, because the chain stretches over time, injection timing gets off. Setting the timing correct makes all the differnce!

      I will! Smokes a bit too much even in the summer.

    She sounds a bit advanced on the injector pump but sounds nice and starts really well

    Pistons ,rings and liners might cheer it up!

      I'm sure it will. Renew the gaskets as well. I really like this for a small utility tractor. I need to clean and free up the internals of the injection pump.

    Just thought I'd let you know I'm doing a video on the TH-cam on information on the fe35 and what had to do to get mine to start straight up and more if your interested rich uk

      Thanks. Mine is running great. Its a little smokey when cold but runs super with little smoke after about a 10 min warmup. I have no idea of the condition of the engine. I haven't changed oil in ....well, since I've owned it. Thats about 15 years. It leaks and I add to it!
