I have an issue where my controller is allergic to aim assist. Close range its not finding it. Cannot figure out the issue. Literally cannot hit shot and I've no idea why.
Also is it pointless trying for frames over my monitor (165)

If you mean frames above your monitors refresh rate, then yh. Cap it at the refresh rate always

2024 and we still stuck at 300fps lock..

exactly, people upgrades to 360hz monitor or 480hz in 2024 just for short ttk games, but long ttk games like apex is actually what benefits more from high hz high motion clarity. 300fps is a shame
