Bear reminds me so much of my horse 🤣 hes 10 years old and was a working livery in a riding school for a little bit before I got him and yet every time he sees poles he has to jump them

Love the shires stuff, looks good on you meg. I am short and fat and almost 60, doesnt look that good on me. but boy its so comfy.. I even got the hat cover with the interchangeable pom poms and my friends are refusing to be seen in public with me. Do i care ? no I feel good in it. thanks for a great video again.. and the fashion tips rub off in me. Could you please do a video about the bits you use and why and how they work ?with the type of pony you ride please. I have young horses and I am struggling. thanks Meg.
I love wearing the Shires riding leggings too :-) I believe that there is a 'bitting' vlog in the pipeline so hopefully you will find it useful with your young horses. Good luck with them x
@@tieganwitts9185 I am working with four horses atm, 1 has a bit he came with and it suits him fine, (western horse) the other 2 have been broken in with rope halters but are not really the types to be taken out hacking without a bit, and finally the one who needs everything (lol) He wont accept a girth so the bit is the least of my worries.. I am starting the 2 with high cheek mullen applemouth so as not to scare them, but that gives me limited scope but is teaching them to take the bit.. I live in germany but get all my tack from the UK or USA for my quarter horse as the choice is better and also the quality. Meg seems to have it sussed with the young horses as I dont want full on pelhams etc been down that road before. But there seems to be much more on the market nowadays and I am always open for advice. As Meg says she is not teaching how to bring on young horses just showing us some of what works for her. And some of her ideas are working for me, her relaxed approach and ability to compromise or change tactics per horse has given me the courage to widen my approach and not rely on a set training routine..but to adjust without stressing out. So any ideas would be nice Tiegen
