Thank you for your video. I am fairly new to experimenting with makeup. I was always just mostly a mascara and lipstick kind of girl. I am 53 and in late 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s been almost 1 year since I finished treatment. Needless to say due to some changes in my appearance, my confidence has taken a beating. I started watching your videos and Allie Glines and have started playing with some makeup. I want to thank you as I am starting to feel better about myself. I find your videos uplifting. I have oily skin so I do like powders. Have you ever tried Merle Norman powder foundation? Thanks again for what you have brought to me.
After watching a dozen of these videos about the F.B. powder foundation, i think i'll continue sticking to all my cheap Max Fact** Cream-To-Liquid foundations at home because they are not only smooth to apply but can also replace any of my concealer products including the big brands. 😮
I got my new brushes in yesterday and used one this morning. I absolutely LOVE it!!!! I'll be back for more! I'm also happy you designed them the way you did because I can find them easily in my brush cup!! The foundation looks gorgeous on your skin. I could never get away with a powder foundation. Not with dry skin. Funny, I used to be an oil slick in my younger days. My 1st venture into department store makeup was the Clinique 3 step program and their foundation for oily skin. Lisa, you are beautiful, but are losing too much weight. I can see it in your face. ❤❤💖

Hi Nancy! It has been years since I wore Studio fix, but if the formula has not changed since then, the Fenty gives a much softer matte finish than the studio fix. It doesn't look flat or dry at all.
Hi I have mature skin that is on the dry side. I was going to purchase this as more of a touch up powder rather than using it as a foundation. I noticed that throughout the day the place where everything just starts to deteriorate is on my nose. So I wanted like a compact to use when I notice this is happening throughout the day. My lady try was Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless and it gathers in the low spots, if ya knows what I mean. 💙
I'd say you seem to be a bit biased against powder foundations, eg. the bare minerals one can give you outright a glowy (not powdery) finish, I am sure there are others like that and unless you applied highlighter liberally to your face (you didn't mention that), this one seemed a bit leaning toward a "radiant matte" right after application as well.

Hi Tami! I would say it depends on your skin type and texture. If you are normal (not too dry or oily), and a nice satin finish would be what i would go for. If you lean more oily, and don't have a lot of texture on the skin a natural matte would be good to try, and if you are dry and have more texture, than i would stay away from mattes, and look for satin, or dewy foundations

Meh..! Since I started using liquid foundations a few years back, the powder ones stopped getting my attention; my skin looks "healthier", less dry and less aging with the liquid ones. I tend to use powders to set make up; I don't even like cream make up and they say aging skin looks better with cream prods but neither gets my attention.🤷♀️
