I live in Canada and we had a white Christmas last year:( In Eastern Canada over the past 4 years or so we haven’t gotten much snow. Global warming is really noticeable here. Years ago we would’ve already had a dozen big storms or more and the snow on the lawn would be at least three feet tall. Now there’s maybe three inches. I think Northern Canada has a lot more snow though.
For those who doesn’t know, having fall outs means that the pigments are really good, because if it doesn’t have a fall outs or it is really pressed into the container, it means that all the pigments are not really good or it will not have a good coverage, so please stop thinking that having fall outs is not good, I learned it through a famous professional makeup artist here in the Philippines. This reminds me of the urban decay stay naked powder foundation. I prefer liquid foundation and use powder ones to set my makeup, as I find that extra coverage is better to set than using a translucent powder

I think you should've tried the powder foundation with the applicator that it comes with. There's this Filipino drugstore brand called Careline and they have the most full coverage powder foundation that I've ever tried and it works best with the applicator that it originally comes with. The more dense the better, and since it's powder, it won't be streaky.

I don't have oily skin anymore but I live in a city very hot and humid, so I always try powder foundations even though I never liked them. Have high hopes for this one 🤞
@@ghenyh2013 a mix of things..: Moisturizing more than I thought I needed; Stopped washing my face with super stripping cleansers (now I only use them twice a week, followed by a really potent hydrating mask); Sunscreen! Whenever we get sunburn we produce more oils to protect from the damage; Less stuff with salicylic acid (my whole skincare routine would have this ingredient in every step so my skin was freaking out without me knowing why), it's a good component to cleanse our skin, but too much can be damaging; I avoid cotton discs now that I discovered double cleansing with cleansing oil. Before I would rub my face with makeup remover on a cotton disc, wash, and then rub it again with a toner on another cotton disc, every time using too much force and exfoliating my skin. Now I massage with cleaning oil, wash first with just water then with a cleasing gel, followed by tapping a small amount of toner with my hands (even if you don't use makeup, the cleasing oil remove sunscreen better); Drink more water (annoying at the beginning, but once you get used to it you will miss when you don't drink enough); Eat less sugar (trust me I still eat sugar, but I try to manage a little better now). Finally, if you have a giant skincare routine, try to reduce it. The essencial is cleansing, moisturizing/hydrating and protecting with sunscreen... Serums, toners, oils, mists or whatever are extra. It can be good if you need to treat acne, hyperpigmentation or other concern, but are not necessary otherwise. At the beginning you won't see a change, but gradually it will get better. Be patient. I hope it helps ☺️ Edit: Sometimes can be just hormones. You can try to see a doctor as well.

@@ghenyh2013 you can still use salicylic acid sometimes, but try the products with a lower concentration. I just talked about it because we see a lot of people mentioning this ingredient and we can easily go overboard with it. haha... If I can give you another tip, I really like japanese sunscreens there are some water based really lightweight and also ones with a primer finish and good oil control effect. Where I live I don't have easy access to a lot of them, but if you have the chance to try I recommend. Taylor Wynn also did a video recently on sunscreen recommendations you can check out. I really trust her.

love how Fenty is doing a good job in terms of shade range but literally, no one remembers how MAC already did that since years ago..
Fenty goes pale enough for me, MAC doesn’t. Can’t speak for other side of the spectrum.
However, MC tones are too yellow, MW too pink/red. They never had neutral undertones.

Eat less sugar (trust me I still eat sugar, but I try to manage a little better now).
Finally, if you have a giant skincare routine, try to reduce it. The essencial is cleansing, moisturizing/hydrating and protecting with sunscreen... Serums, toners, oils, mists or whatever are extra. It can be good if you need to treat acne, hyperpigmentation or other concern, but are not necessary otherwise.
At the beginning you won't see a change, but gradually it will get better. Be patient.

@@Ly7vi omg!! You are theeeee bestttt! Thank you so much Lyscia! I used to wear salicylic acid cleanser but I’ve been switching to a very very gentle face wash for the past three weeks now. Idk I just felt like gentle cleanser wouldn’t strip my skin as much! But I’ll surely stop using cotton pads after this! And of course eating less sugar and drink more water (sometimes I tend to forgot to drink since I’m at home all the time bcs of covid and not doing much exercise haha) but again thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@ghenyh2013 you can still use salicylic acid sometimes, but try the products with a lower concentration. I just talked about it because we see a lot of people mentioning this ingredient and we can easily go overboard with it. haha...
If I can give you another tip, I really like japanese sunscreens there are some water based really lightweight and also ones with a primer finish and good oil control effect. Where I live I don't have easy access to a lot of them, but if you have the chance to try I recommend. Taylor Wynn also did a video recently on sunscreen recommendations you can check out. I really trust her.
@@ghenyh2013 to help with the habit of drinking more water, I bought a cup with a straw that I carry around the house with me. A transparent one so that I can see if it's full or empty.
