Got the “whoa,” got the marching feet/legs, got the no-look, got the head bob. Dang, now I’ve watched it 20 times myself. I didn’t like this type of music, but now I’m hooked. Unbelievable talent and grooviness. Wow!
I love the guy on the left at 1:26; he notices the beat cut out and his face shows a perfect mixture of uncertainty/stank and the "woo!" he makes feels so genuine 👌👌👌👌
Bruh, he captured everyone’s attention at 1:26! That anticipation, syncopation, beat drop felt outta this world! Never heard a groove like that until today. He certainly had everyone feelin’ it!

This crowd is amazing! Everyone is feeling the music. It's way better than a thousand people watching with their arms crossed and not caring about the show
@@wil7702it's not funk, there is no bass guitar, if I had to put it in a category, it would be fusion jazz (I hear a lot on inspiration on herbie hanckock for the sounds)😊
@@arielamine5662 you hit the nail on the head, it is indeed fusion jazz. Maaaan I swear when my band performs prerecorded tracks live it always seems to be a gang of technical musical geniuses in the crowd criticizing on why we aren't playing live music. Hats off to Anomaly for being able to keep his poise to pull off this performance with folk right in his face with cameras rolling. People don't realize what goes into trying to create the perfect sound experience!
But.. this is live music? Do you mean playing prerecorded backing tracks? Because yeah that's fine, especially when it's a guitar or synth double but you only have so many players. Even big acts like ZZ Top have to do that, and the haters can hate. But if it's entirely prerecorded then yeah, musicians would criticize that (rightfully). May as well see a DJ press spacebar to play the set on their MacBook at da clurb at that point

Anomalie Man! I love your style. Will you ever do anything with any hip hop artists or vocalists?

The audience is giving me life!!! Bless their little off-beat hearts!!
Omg I love the way you worded your words.
I love the way you commented your comment!!
But seriously for me, a piano guy starting to like jazz, this was really REALLY good 🎶
To be fair, given how behind the beat he’s playing, it’s pretty difficult to find the beat.
They are all moving with Velours don't really see what you're talking about..

It’s fucking insane the amount of groove this dude gives off, I’ve repeated 1:25 - 1:40 at least a 100 times
