Zomboy did exactly what Virtual Riot did. Used the sample to pretty much make the entire song. I love it when producers take this route.

The first time I listened to Hanglide I had just recently heard Anomolies music. That cut stopped me in my tracks. Anomolie and Rob definitely compliment each other.

The thing with Anomalie is you can tell his style right off the bat..especially if you listen to his solo work. Metropole being the prime example. Kilamanzego's is sparkly and spacey...nicely trippy. Zomboy is faithfully dubstep/dirty bass. Andrew went dark with his..the deep grungy underground sound.
I love how Andrew keeps bringing on more and more dubstep legends onto the show.
Eventually I anticipate to see Skrillex, Rusko, Eliminate, Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Feed Me or Modestep

Andrew KILLED it on this one. Easily my favorite mix he’s done in the series. Those synth melodies were entrancing and the drop with the “monster” audio clip was just NASTY. I usually find Andrew’s style to not suit my taste although it’s always well done, but this time I found myself wanting to hit an add to playlist button within seconds of hearing it. Beautiful work Andrew, not on just the mix, but on the entire series itself. I get hyped anytime a new video drops. It’s something that even people who aren’t interested in music production can enjoy because of how amazing it is to watch different talents create.
Samee, typically i like to find new artists here as well, but Andrew absolutely killed it.

Anomalie's track: a futuristic disco man strutting into the back alley of a abandoned church covered in graffiti from the back
Andrew's track: a group of urban explorers investigating a old town for a cryptid using technology.

I agree. It was the most musical out of all the tracks, which I personally really enjoyed. The others were still mind blowing though. Andrew never disappoints with his tracks.
This Zomboy flip might be my favorite Zomboy song ever lol
These are definitely four well produced tracks! My only problem is that this time the original sample was too ambiguous - so you can't even recognize it in the finished tracks (except for some small bits maybe). Personally, I think this kind of challenge works much better with sampling a distinctive part of a more "normal" song (preferably with vocals included). I love when I can actually hear the parts of the original sample (without intently listening to it ten times just to get it stuck in my head) so that I can appreciate how exactly the producers changed its vibe or built around it (Foreign Bodies becoming Follow Puppies in of the earlier episode being a great example! :) ).
When the original sample gets changed too much or is next to impossible to recognize in the finished mix, it feels a bit like the producers could just take a 20 second audio clip from any random TH-cam video and use its parts to create the sounds they need for the track - which kind of defeats the purpose of using a specific sample IMHO.
Otherwise, this is a great series and I'm definitely looking forward to more episodes - just hoping for a more "remix style" ones ;)

Oh man, every single track came out so lit. Zomboy's was the most energetic & badass, Anomalie's was the most groovy & chill, K's was just this insane, innovative explosion of sounds, and Andrew's just created this insane atmosphere full of epicness. Yep, every single one was a straight up banger!!
I love how these episodes are done. Getting underground producers and a more known producer, love this series so so much. Would love to see Eliminate on one of these in the future. Or, maybe even someone like Qoiet or Code:Pandorum. Would be sick as hell. 💕

Kilamanzego's track in particular stood out to me. I'm a huge sucker for arps, pitch bend and chippy sounds. And the chords were stunning!

I think, even more than the actual production in this serie, the choice of sample is always incredible. They really give opportunities for VERY different exploitation. And even though I don't know what the producers will end up doing with it yet, I feel like this one won't be an exception.

I love Andrew's videos and that's what convinced me to look into his course. It's AWESOME. I did it, although not very well because I kind of suck but it was great. You should do it!! I learned SO MUCH great stuff and watching Andrew create music was super inspiring and enlightening. I'm a total noob but there's stuff in there for seasoned producers as well. Highly recommended!
