    Was on the fence but gave it a try. No regrets. I have to admit I had to use a Dremel for it to fit. I have a LWRCI-AR which required grinding down the magwell device to fit the gun. The end result was a solid custom fit. This is not some 3D printed novelty that are all over the market. HRF concept magwell is light weight, solid construction and a legit product.

    How stable is the RCM? I'm a little paranoid of it moving around since it's being held by tension alone.

      Very stable, I just keep tightening it until it’s got enough tension I can’t move it with my hands. It’s also locking around the lip of the magwell so it can’t just slide off.

      fuck em. I've broken a lot of shit and i've watched even more shit rattle itself free from extremely high volumes of fire, its working perfectly and frankly the way I Loctite and torque most things requires significant heat to remove it and thats the way I like it.

    It's neat... It's not he first time plastic has cost this much so I guess that's not the only reason this product is irritating - it's that no one else has one like it on the market yet. Give it time though this is a hilariously simple idea and part. How may versions of the, nearly, $100 dollar Norgon ambi-mag release are there now at 25 -30% of the asking price? This is an injection molded plastic housing over threaded brass shafts.

      It is expensive, but I guess everyone forgot about the $90 lancer Magwell from many years ago.

    • @lawless911sc
      @lawless911sc ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jordonmcwilliams9006 exactly. Same thing there and it also lends credence to the idea that there is nothing new under the sun, just people waiting for their turn when patents run out. If only they had existed at the same time then we could see how a free market dynamic actually works. For the time being this is pretty much it.

    A flared mag well won’t make up for a lack of training, but since I’ve tried one I can’t go back lmao.

      ever tried reloading on the move under nightvision under time while in full kit after rucking and shooting 2000 rounds in the last 48 hours.
      its pretty nice to have.

    The HRF magwell is made of cheap printed plastic that is nowhere near the strength of polymer pistol frames. Mine broke with average range use. Then when you contact the company, you will go through a few emails of them telling you that they will replace their product but they never do. They will simply stall in responding emails in the hopes that you just will go away. Spend a few more dollars and buy something that will actually hold up to use.

      sounds like you got a lemon. I really cant see that factually being the case across the board. I've literally thrown this rifle at the ground on more than one occasion and done more than enough dryfire and live fire reloads and its held up just fine. there is also Tony3m who shoots A LOT and his is still attached. Email story sounds like bullshit to me.

      Ah. Yep, you called it. I am flat out lying. I am somehow making money off of lying about my experience. Sounds like you are just a piece of @#$% who can't believe anything other than what happened to you. Let me guess, hrf is giving you money. You are bought and paid for.

    • @autonomousdefense
      @autonomousdefense  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jeffshermer9361 sounds like you just completely ignored the fact a competition shooter who posts his extremely high round count training every…..single……day…..has been using it for over a year with no problems. Sounds like maybe you’re lying for the sake of lying. Yknow, nobody does that on the internet especially about gun stuff, nope, not ever.

    • @autonomousdefense
      @autonomousdefense  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jeffshermer9361 it’s more because you’re one dude and I’ve got about 14 friends who live in different states who bought this product because they ask what i thought of it and i was with those guys 2 months ago for a nightvision class and nobody had any problems. None. Again. Tony3m uses a 16inch rifle that it’s been on forever. Like literally nobody else has experienced what you’re saying and you’re testifying it’s a bad product because of an email exchange about a return, or replacement. You’re attaching an emotional experience involving customer service to it. That has nothing to do with the actual product itself

      @@jeffshermer9361 also my channel basically doesn’t exist i haven’t made a video in 10 months, don’t nobody pay my vulgar ass a penny for anything i do. Wish they did it would be pretty cool.
