We stayed at bath chew last new year ,it was nice that they towed the caravan especially as it was getting dark and absolutely pouring down with rain ,yes the cars are parked nearby but you can drop things off shopping etc at the caravan and then park it anytime, it was nice not to have cars going around the park made it more peaceful, yes would of like abit more of a dog walk but will definitely go again
Hi Elaine. Ah yes you're absolutely right, we did forget to mention that you can take your car to the pitch to drop thing off, pick things up etc. Thanks for the reminder. We'll pin this comment so others can see it. Glad you liked to site and will go back again. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Hi Mac & Sarah We have just spent 5 nights at this site and absolutely loved it 🥰 Thank you for inspiring us to visit. We thought it was quick and efficient the way they tow and level your caravan. We are big fans of Ospreys so can you imagine our excitement when we saw not one but 3 Ospreys over our stay from the bird hide on the lake. They are currently migrating so I couldn’t contain my excitement and had everyone else in the hide over excited too. We will definitely visit again. Look forward to seeing you in your next video. Love to Dozer x Janet & Andrew
Hi Guys new subscriber, we have often fancied staying at Bath chew but have never liked the thoughts of someone else moving our van. Love the channel 👍
Hi Len, thanks for subscribing, we really appreciate it 👍 Yes we definitely know what you mean about having your van moved into a pitch by someone else... It worked out fine but it's definitely unusual. Thanks for watching, Mac & Sarah
Ah that's interesting Christine, didn't actually know there was one nearby. It's a great area to visit so may check it out. Thanks so much for watching
Been watching your content on recommendation from Dan Trudgian, we're long time caravanners but only just recentlyish (5yrs) started vlogging our caravan holidays. Its intersting to watch how other film/vlog there caravan holidays. Over the many years of caravanning we've travelled to many places, but now we tend to stay in one place/campsite.
Hi, thanks for checking out our videos, much appreciated 👍🏼 we really enjoy clogging, it gives us a creative outlet and encourages us to go and visit more places.
Great review guys . If you get a chance , try out Eye Ketterby Lakes near Melton Mowbray. Our old chocolate Lab Bonnie just loved it , as they even had warm water dog showers for her, after a nice stroll around the lakes. Plus a good supply of free dog treats in the bar 😅
Great video mac and sarah i would not stay there as its for adults only i like the idea of them taking the caravan to your site your lunch looked really nice
Thanks for the review, one thing you didn't mention was what the dress code was to visit the facilities!! I like the adult only aspect. Not the lack of parking next to the van like others with a small van, the need for access to the car is essential for storage. With all the grounds they have, I'm surprised they could only manage 200m for the dog walk! On the whole a bit to perfect!! I know it sounds odd to say that as a criticism but all the caravans inch perfect in allinement and worrying if we are allowed to put out our clothes dryer or not, would not offer a relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing your next post, thanks again.
We are going to Old Oaks nr Glastonbury for 9 days at Easter next yr. Another great video guys, and you owe me some money.....copyright funds for the patent I have on that dancing.....lol
Only once have had the caravan sited for me and that was due to a waterlogged pitch and I was asked beforehand if this was ok. I find it strange that this is the norm and not an option.for this particular site, seeing that it's all hard standing. It looks very nice though and neat and tidy. However, due to having a disabled wife, it's a No-No. NIce to see you folks enjoying it though. As for the price WOW!! I bet the tractor takes up a large proprtion of the nightly fee for parking your van.
Hi Chris, thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, it's not cheap. That was the first time we'd ever had the van sited for us, a little wierd. It would be hard for your wife there, although there is a disabled pitch, I still don't think the car is allowed in pitch, I may be wrong though. Thanks again, all the best
i like the idea of cars not next to caravans but mine is used to store essentials as i have a smallish caravan. my grandchildren and i are also nervous of dogs so having a dog free area is helpful.....sadly no chikdren so i wont be visiting even though its quite close to me. i wish more sites had areas for dog free and childfree rather than an outright ban. i havent found anywhere where i can take grandchildren that doesnt take dogs ( though lots of sites that take dogs but not children)
Oh that's a dilemma, I can see how that would be really difficult to find the right site. Hard to find the right balance I guess. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. All the best
Don’t go to the red lion I’m from the area it’s really not that great .get your self to the village chew Magna .to great pubs a sea food restaurant shops .you would both love it .about a two minute drive from salt and malt
Sorry but a site where you cannot park your car next to your caravan is just hopeless.we stop at sites that pitch your van for you but where you can still park with your van.

Hey there, thanks for watching. Well as it happens we may well have booked a week there next year.... Glad it has the Bonnie seal of approval 😊
Great video mac and sarah i would not stay there as its for adults only i like the idea of them taking the caravan to your site your lunch looked really nice

Ah the pesky British weather lol. Glad you enjoyed your stay 👍 thanks for watching
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and you were recommended by the ‘Trudgians’ this is the first of your videos I’ve watched and love how do them.
Ah thanks very much Gary, glad you stopped by!! All the best, Mac & Sarah

Hi David, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Yes I think maybe the site is a bit marmite maybe, it's certainly unique in its approach.
We are going to Old Oaks nr Glastonbury for 9 days at Easter next yr. Another great video guys, and you owe me some money.....copyright funds for the patent I have on that dancing.....lol
Haha oh no, we didn't mean to infringe on your copyrighted dancing 😂 We're off to Old Oaks again too, in April. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Shocked at the Wi-Fi charges!😮
Yes absolutely! Seems a bit of a money maker
Looks lovely but we won't be visiting due to not being able to park next to the van - why, why, why?
Hi Maxine. Yes, we agree it's a strange system lol. Thanks for watching 👍
£47 per night! 😮 How does that compare to Old Oaks in Glastonbury? Which is my favourite site but a 4 hour drive away
Hey Barb 😀 actually I think Old Oaks (also our favorite site) is a few £ cheaper I think ..
I agree with a lot of tge comments. It's a lovely site but rather expensive. Oh, by the way, Wells is a city, not a town😊
We stayed here in September, not too keen on the parking your car away from the caravan policy
Hey thanks for watching. Yea I totally understand. I think that's a bit of a marmite policy to be honest
I have copyright on that special dancing routine you did art the start of this information bulletin - I've been doing it for 40 yrs.....
What network are you on please.
Phone network? O2
@@MacSarah same as us. Thanks for the information nice videos. Merry Christmas to you both

Totally understand your feeling on it, having the car next to the van really is better
Bit pricey. Only for the wealthy .
It's definitely not cheap, but we're definitely not wealthy either lol. Thanks for watching
