I don't have any issue with the people on Parrys Lane and round the Circular Road. Most of them have been there all winter with minimal impact in terms of rubbish or noise. Last couple of months a new group have parked up on the grass south east of Ladies Mile and they have made a mess of it with used toilet roll and plastic and so on in a lot of places as well as firepits. As I understand it the laws aren't easy to use to move them on but at least the council could arrange with them to collect rubbish like it does with every other household and business in the city.
What a state ¡!!! I wouldnt take my son and grandson up there to play anymore. Its vile doing your business like that. Open a reasonable priced place for people to park up. Give them facilities to use and use the cost of living there for maintenance. That makes sense to me

It does seem that most are just trying to live their lives as best they can. I agree the council could offer more.

That’s what some reports in the papers were saying. I didn’t see anything myself while I was there.
lost my life within a day.:(
Really interesting. I must admit though I wouldn’t want that on my doorstep if I had paid a million quid for my house.
I get that. Question is what does happen to make this a fair outcome for everyone?
Don’t know. With the cost of living going the way it is a lot more of us may be joining them.
@@jamesbarton826 You may be right.

I think the fact there are no facilities is a large part of the problem.
