Was a great time on Saturday. Enjoyed watching you guys and doing a lot of this with my Tundra. Tundras were in short supply however. Good job with the filming.
Nice video, event looks fun What’s the lift and tire size on your Tundra? I’m trying to learn approach angles and what I can and can’t do so watching your videos helps brother
Hey man so it’s king Coilovers with coach builder shims to get an extra inch and the coils cranked up. The rear is king shocks with stage 3 icon leaf pack (I would advise to get custom leafs depending on your gear weight) Tires 37x12.5x17 going 37s give you that extra clearance. As you know with long wheelbase you take as much clearance as possible.
@@overlandtundras Sheesh that is a sick set up. I was thinking about leaving my leafs stock but thats good advice. I'm shopping for a suspension before I throw on 35s but seeing those 37s gets me thinking haha. Did you regear the transmission for the 37s? Appreciate the response man!
Another great video Dre. What did you decide on for skids? Can anyone at the Expo drive on these courses or do you have to be a vendor? Interesting situation with the hitch skid getting caught. Do you think you could have Hi-Lifted your rear to get the hitch skid off the pipe and then just removed the hitch skid? Keep it up!
Hey bro, appreciate the love!! I went with full rci skids, I need to finish that video but had an issue with rci not sending everything so had to wait on that. Regarding the recovery yes many ways of doing it. The problem was that I hit a ledge of the culvert and it grabbed the lip of the skid. We tried to pull the pin but it was stuck in there. So while we had plenty of winches made sense to get it out the fasted is one pulls and the other lifts.
@@overlandtundras Good choice with RCI did you go with aluminum or steel? That's a bummer, they forgot to send me slider hardware. They will make it right though, great company to work with!

Man, the guy giving ground guidance at 3:00 was trash. It was like he was trying to give the worst advice possible.

Thanks brother appreciate the love and sorry you missed it but super excited to see that f350 !!!
Y’all have too many people giving direction, and the pilots don’t seem to listen.
Yea at big events it can get messy and if you don’t bring a trusted spotter be ready for everyone to start yelling at you 😂
@@overlandtundras been there for sure and it gets confusing, overall great vid and really nice builds.
