Bodega T25A
Our Adventures always rely and require certain gear to survive and have a great time. When I comes to packing you have to make sure you pack enough and be efficient with space because there is only so much you can pack in a truck/trailer. With that in mind we use power coolers where we don't have to depend on ice to keep all the food and drinks cold.
Because we have multiple adventure rigs we are always looking to try new products to see what works best for our needs. In that process we love sharing the different products with you guys.
Model name: T25A
Value: $259.99 (but its on sale right now)

As a Real Estate Agent im always on my laptop and what a better way to work from the truck with this Melipron Laptop Mount! Have had it in the truck for about 2 weeks now and it has held up amazingly. • @overlandtundras
      @overlandtundras 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The back will most likely be lower. Also depending on age of rear leafs and suspension it may sit higher or lower. Best recommendation is spacer in the front and leaf shackle in the back or block for best level.

    You can do this job without loosening the lower control arms, saves time in disassembly and assembly, use a lower control arm pry tool from astro. I have done this job four times and my best time from pulling the truck into the garage to taking my test drive was 2.5 hours. Hardest part for me was bolting the sway bar endlinks in. Installed 6112s. Nice having a lift so you dont have to crawl around on the floor. Very informative video, this is the video i watched a few times before I attempted this job The first time.

    I bought the 22 in September 22 with only two on the lot. I wish I would’ve waited. I haven’t had any issues, they started calling me for recalls immediately. Hopefully they caught everything in time. Turbo lag has happened twice while attempting to pull out into on coming traffic. I take my foot off the brake at most lights or stops, to prevent it. I’m seeing #5 is the most alarming. If you want to drive with the door open, you have to allow it to roll until it self brakes, then put it back in park and back to drive again. Same for reverse, but you can drive with the doors open. I know it still sucks but that’s the only way to bypass the self braking.

      Currently our 22 is sitting and waiting for a new motor. Nothing is wrong with it but Toyota doesn’t want the motor to fail so they have us in a loaner.

Have 2010 tundra and this is the first Bilstein 5100 install I've seen that uses the top Clip on the front but also installs a 1" block in the rear. Just looking to have mine level with a slightly oversize tire. Great video!

    • @overlandtundras

      So depending on the age of your truck it may sit lower and that’s why we recommend the block for a perfect level. Some older trucks have well worn springs and leafs that sit slightly lower.

    If you live in the rust belt treat those 3 studs on the top of the shock several times before removing them. The sand and salt sit on that cap and then the nut stick and it is very challenging to cut those off. I just did a Tundra and the back stud on both sides had to be cut.

    I have a 2023 tundra platinum. I don’t have no issues whatsoever so far I have 7000 miles on it. I’ve changed the oil twice myself the first time I found some Debris in the oil pan,. I cut open the oil filter and Harley didn’t find nothing in there. Just a few specs but what came out of the oil pan was small small pieces and it was more than I’d like to see. I’ve been a mechanic for 50 years and I rent a fleet of vehicles semi vans, pick ups and others. so finding a little more than I would like in the oil pan kind of bothered me so I changed the oil again. 6600 miles found no debris in pan or the oil filter. I bought the extended warranty with my truck 10 years or 100,000 miles. Why I did it because these turbo engines and these tundras have only been out for two years so for peace of mind I did it also I broke in my engine The way I always do for the first 500 miles. I would drive it at 55 miles an hour 60 miles an hour 65 miles an hour and 75 miles an hour for short distances and then stay at 55. I did that for the first 500 miles I’m gonna be changing my oil every 5000 miles I think 10,000 miles is too long but I am very happy with the truck so far and All new vehicles nowadays have issues i have a friend that bought a GMC truck and his engine has already been torn apart with 2000 miles on it. They change the lifters the valves because it had a ticking noise put it all back together and it still has a noise so they all have issues. He’s very frustrated with this truck, so we just have to deal with it as we go but thank God that Toyota is putting all new engines in these tundras I don’t know what the warranty is going to be. I don’t know if they’re going to turn back the speedometer to zero because it’s gonna be confusing, if they don’t anyway, good luck😊
