Some of my fondest teenage memories. Roti pratha and eggs for breakfast, char siu rice for lunch, some fresh sugarcane juice.. and if I had the money chili stingray for dinner. And a few Tiger beers to wash it down. Paradise on earth. Now I'm stuck in the US.. wah lao eh.

BTW, those shell fish are not clams; they're cockles. Usually, BBQ stingray is not dry. I guess the cook overcooked it. Anyway, glad you enjoyed our hawker foods.

That’s a huge feast! I love all of these dishes, even though Newton tends to be a bit overrated and overpriced. Btw you are definitely dressed correctly for an outdoor hawker meal in Singapore. LOL

I was there with some colleagues some time back. I enquired the price and was shown the crab that will be served to me. When crab was served to the table, it was much smaller. I have been scammed and they really lived up to their name, scammers. I should have known better.

@@legendanny93 Have you gone to try the food at East Coast Lagoon Food Village. They have similar foods like the Newton Food Centre and it's not at a ripped off price.

This pair should have stayed at home. You wasted your time with the vendors/dishes you had because better food is available elsewhere for far less. Newton Circus is only worth visiting with a group of overseas friends and buying from the big seafood vendors with enough food to fill a table and share.

Thanks for watching! You’re right Newton is best for eating with many people and maybe showing some overseas friends some local food all in one place. If you have nice food places recommendations just let me know so I can try!
