Awesome riding! Being sick sucks, you did a great job, audio wasn't an issue, being sick wasn't either. You're a great rider, thanks for sharing another spot for us!
Morgan this trail is Amazing, I have been riding it for the first time during the Thanksgiving week, I cannot believe I did not try this trail before, I want to go back and do some log hours training to prepare some of my XCM races.
I've been looking to go to Racoon MTN (it's not that far of a drive for me) for years, but I haven't been for whatever reason. Seeing your video makes me want to get there soon.
Girlie, you were haulin' the mail! What a great route that is. Looking forward to seeing your land in Spring when it's all greened up. And also, it seems that you rarely see other riders? Out here in Cali, it's quite the opposite. 😎
Haha, my favorite trails are always the ones that are away from cities and in more remote parts of the mountains. Usually I don't see a ton of people due to that. I'm looking forward to that too with no leaves, lol!!
I miss riding on the wet ground back east. Colorado isn’t so bad but down here in Southern Arizona is just too dusty and dry. But the daytime temperatures are hard to beat in winter unless you’re in Florida. In the summer, it’s always cool at 10,000 feet. That’s why I move up and camp in Co all summer.
Great video! I have been there twice but didn't like it , i may have to give it another chance . Have you ridden anything in the Atlanta area? Allatoona creek and blankets creek would be my recommendations
I don’t know if I went a different way, but definitely did not clock in 4 miles on the climb, lol. I hit 3 miles a little over halfway just climbing up High Voltage.
@ Climbing up High Voltage is tough! It’s 3.5 miles long and gets you up to the top elevation, after that it’s lots of ups and downs to make it a loop so that’s probably what you did. Awesome video by the way. Thanks!
You finally made it…Now go back and do the opposite. Super stoked you climbed high voltage and got to descend Live Wire 1 and 2. From seeing your videos I think you’d enjoy going down electric Ave, Laurel point and High Voltage a lot more.
I’ve always said it’s multipurpose, ha. High engagement, plus it lets hikers know I’m coming, lol. Sometimes my husband or mom will ride with me, but I’ve always loved riding by myself.
FYI anyone coming to area, Raccoon will be closed Feb 17- May 16 2025
Great to know! Thank you!

Thank you!!
@ you're welcome! 👍
Absolutely gorgeous video my friend! Looks and feels so enjoyable!
Thank you!! It was a fun trail!
"I do dumb things, but I'm OK with it" love it! That's my do life moto 😂
😂😅
Thanks for the video. I'm moving to TN soon, and I'll put this one on my list!
It’s a good one and the views are 👌🏻

Right?! It was my first time riding there and I was thinking, how did I not know about this place!
You killed that climb. That loop
is not easy.

Nice ride. Raccoon Mountain is one of my favorite riding areas.
Such a fun trail system! I have to get back over there to check out more trails!

Thanks for showing the climb.
That’s funny I was thinking the same thing on her hub. Reminds me of my old hope pro 2 I had on a stans wheel set
how cold was it??
It started out in the mid 40’s and then got up into the 50’s!

Ah I’m jealous! I used to live in SoCal and I miss being able to ride easily year round, especially without leaves. 😅

I have! Allatoona is still one I haven’t done yet though! Need to get over there soon.
What app are you using?
I use both Trailforks and MTB Project! In the video it was MTB Project.
Up live wire and down high voltage is the fun way to ride it. Try that next time. Enjoy your videos.
I will have too! The whole time climbing up High Voltage I couldn’t help but think how fun it would be going down, haha.
That downhill looks pretty epic. Not so sure about the 8 mile climb though.
Yeah, I wasn’t anticipating on an 8 mile climb. 😅😅
Climbs are my kryptonite. 🤮 😂😂 that DH did look fun though.
Climbing from the bottom of the network to the top is 4-ish miles up Live Wire 2 and 1. Where was there an 8 mile climb?
I don’t know if I went a different way, but definitely did not clock in 4 miles on the climb, lol. I hit 3 miles a little over halfway just climbing up High Voltage.

🙂👍
If you ever go there in the summertime, look out for rattlesnakes 🐍
I could see that!

Raccoon Mountain is definitely a shuttle park for me 😂 that climb to downhill ratio just isn’t there
That’s one loud hub on your bike. Great work on the video. Why doesn’t anybody ever ride with you? Gotta be careful riding alone.
