You got me - I watched the whole video. First, let me say as a member of the build crew on this trail, your video is one of the better I've seen as far as capturing the true character of the trail. As far as dogs there, the park has a leash law, but I think that's just so they can deal with people whose dogs are unruly. Your pup seemed very well behaved. The park has both walking/hiking and MTB trails, and there isn't supposed to be a lot of cross pollination between the two but it happens - which is where the new trail you saw comes in - I spent my summer building that, which is to be a new hiking route to the peak. Loved the video, and glad you enjoyed the trail. Not sure where you're located, but if you like rocky trails, check out the Barfield Crescent MTB trails in Murfreesboro TN if you ever get that direction. It's 8.5 miles of trail, with 5 miles of rock garden, so rocky it had to be hand built, no machine could tackle the terrain. I look forward to poking around your channel some more!

Thank you! That means a lot, especially coming from one of the builders! Such an awesome trail paired with those views! 👌 Thank you for that info as well. Great to know and the trail recommendation! I need to start making some trips over to TN. I've heard really great things!

I’ve watched other mtb youtubers have a GoPro on the rear saddle to show other bikers trailing them- I think it would be awesome if you had one also to show your dog trailing you when you’re sending it to see how she’s doing too!

I love this idea! I have my GoPro Max, so I may try and figure out a way to mount it to be the dedicated Lacie camera, lol.

You want rocks? Try the cell tower area at end of Snake Gap time trial trail. Couple hundred yards of babyheads right when your legs are about to cramp into stratosphere.

Hopefully yall got some of that rain that just passed. It’s been so dry here in Huntsville. I finally get to ride Oak Mnt this coming weekend. Super stoked about it

I can't believe you love rocks haha... I like right next to Coldwater MTN in AL and sometimes I drive just to get away from them.... haha. Love your video's though!

Hahaha! You know, I didn't always love rocks and then I had a weird shift and now I love them, lol. Going up them though, no so much. 😂

Do you ever wear knee pads or elbow pads? The trails here in Austin are too rocky for me to consider riding without them… by the way, great videos!

      Thank you!!
I should probably wear them more, but I usually only wear knee pads if I’m at a bike park.
