Nice ride-along! I'd love to try a Massey of that caliber someday. Glad you didn't find a fawn (the hard way or otherwise) - I know we've talked about that plenty. Glad to learn more about the mixed grass vs straight variety hay game in your region. Around here, unless it's a dairy carefully cultivating (and chopping) something, it's almost all mixed grass. Granted, we're a net hay importer here in MA (at least for small squares), so a well managed mixed grass hay seemingly sells itself. Maybe the chip we're tossed for our crazy weather 😅. Thanks for sharing, as always!
I agree with you on the hay, something to be said about a mixed grass that's good and bad, also that a field of timothy is a special hay that a fellow can get good prices from. The MF 1105 and the Krone 2801cv work great as a team, does an outstanding job, good luck with it. Have a good evening!
Looks nice, its all good when you dont have hay, I would take it.
Thanks!
Hay field looks pretty good. Hay making is at a standstill here. Haven’t been able to string three nice days together in the past three weeks.
Thanks! Bone dry here, no rain for weeks and none on the 10 day forecast.

Looks like great mixed hay for cattle!
