I graduated in the mid 80’s. You know what the best part about reactions like your is? I know what’s coming and it blowing your mind with songs I’ve heard a hundred times! Watching someone as young as you discovering the incredible 70’s and 80’s music… it makes me smile!
That's why I watch the younger reaction channels. I know what's coming, and want to see their eyes go wide with amazement and wonder. No autotune, although some of the labels are going back and pitch correcting the likes of Freddy Mercury and Barry Gibb, which IMO is HERESY!
I was a 9 year old boy when this song came out and I loved Heart. Their extreme talent just can’t be denied. I always seemed to gravitate to musicians with great talent even as a kid.
Nix this overproduced 80s video. Listen to the Live in Seattle version of this to really hear Ann’s power. Also from Live in Seattle, check These Dreams for Nancy taking the lead. Those stripped down versions are so much better than the studio versions.
I like heart's more 70s sound than I like their 80 sound. But these dreams is a really good one! For some reason it always makes me quite sad, like a lot of 80s music. Like a couple of other really good bands - - such as Hall and Oates, Journey, and Chicago - - they were able to transition into the 80s and still put out really good rock ballads. In general, my taste tends to run towards 70s music.
The legendary Wilson sisters! Rocks finest! Ann Wilson's vocals are massive, but their harmonies are impeccable!! Nancy actually has a couple of lead songs, Dreams is fantastic! But I've loved them since 7th grade! Enjoy!♥️🔥❤️🔥🤗
Mollyboy, I must admit, of all the reactors of music videos, you are 100 % the best. Keep up with the old music vids. Best music ever and your impressions of the music is right on.
We didn't know how good we had it...until it all started crumbling and blowing away. Bands are like an endangered species now. We were so lucky, and had no clue we were.
I had the great fortune to see Heart perform live in the early 2000's. They performed Magic Man, Barracuda and Crazy on You one after the other. Most singers couldn't get through those three songs in a night never mind in a row. Ann Wilson has one of the greatest voices of all time and together as a duo the Wilson sisters are amazing live! Heart is still one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
A little story about how I was introduced to Heart. I was about 22 at a pizza parlor visiting a friend and he had just gotten an album from his friend in Vancouver, British Columbia. Heart was subsequently signed here in the States, but this was prior to any radio play here. My friend was pleased to get this, and his friend in Vancouver knew how much I enjoyed music. I think he over-bought to support these musicians, and I received a copy, and I wore it down to nothing! I immediately fell in love with their sound. And I was on-top of when their next album came out. I shared the Northwest here in the states with them, but made even more perfect, these two women were from Sammamish in Washington, just east of Seattle. 'Alone' has always been one of my favorites, but they have been making music for several decades now. Yes, 'These Dreams' is wonderful, but what I want to say is that I so appreciate your discovery of band like this, and I benefit from hearing these again. So thanks!
Ann and Nancy are PERFECTION! And they are still performing. Ann is coming back successfully from cancer treatment. They paved a very wide road for women in rock! ♥️♥️
Quote: "Alone is a song worthy of Heart’s histrionics. It’s the best kind of power ballad: The love song that’s really just an internal monologue. Ann Wilson’s narrator is singing to an object of desire, unburdening her soul and telling this person all about how she feels."
🎸💯 Heart IS incredible! Their concert in Greensboro, NC in 1980 was such an amazing experience! John Hiatt (a great singer & guitarist) opened for Heart & after they performed Bob Seger performed for 2 more hours‼️They all blew us away‼️☮️❤️🎶
I graduated high school in 83 and this amazing sounding music is what built us.. Thanks for listening to my generations music. It blew you away and that was so great to see.
Nancy sings lead on These Dreams. She had a cold and it made her voice so special she's never been able to replicate it. Oh, and for the love of rock and roll please do Magic Man next. Amazing guitar solo by Roger Fisher, the actual brother of the "Magic Man" the song was written about.
Hands down the best reaction! This is one of my favorite songs... and your reaction was very satisfying.. LOL! Ann is so incredible .. it's so great to see someone from a much younger generation love it as much as I do... I have been so lucky to see them sing this in concert. Oh but, please react to These Dreams...it's fantastic..
No mixing or playing with their sound - it is exactly like this live in concert. For years there was speculation that Nancy wasn't playing the guitar - they were wrong. So much talent!
Notice in the beginning that the timing & cadence emulates a ticking clock. Even the piano has a bit of a spinnet sound to give it a passing time feel. Ann's enunciation is also phenomenal. Alone is an important word in the song, and she touches on the consonants beautifully. An all round masterpiece.
Heart has had popular songs and albums in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and all the way to their last studio album in 2016 called Beautiful Broken. They are starting their next tour in February 2025. Ann is going on 75 and Nancy will be 71 and they are still kicking butt.
Thanks for all the Heart reactions, we've been listening to them since the 70s and never get tired of them. By the way, they are still touring but they delayed the 2024 tour due to Ann's cancer. We've seen them in concert a number of times and the last time was about 10 years ago and they were still fantastic. Ann's voice is legendary and unmistakable. Keep up the great work MollyBoy!
One of the best female legendary vocal in rock history!!! Love me some Heart!!! Also Nancy Wilson sings the lead on "These Dreams" which is the best selling single today. It is FIRE!!! It is slow but really Beautiful!!!!
Ann is so incredible and you would never guess she had terrible stage fright, If you had ever been to a Heart concert Ann shows up voice ablazing and makes you in aww of her glory! The duo of the Wilson Sisters are AMAZING! Not only are they incredible strong women, Beautiful, Talented, Humble and They will blow you away hearing them in interviews. ❤❤❤
Nancy is a classically trained guitarist and as well as an accomplished pianist. Actually both are musically trained and amazing! Ann is an amazing flutist.
You r simply the best, period! Your reactions, your love to hang on guitar notes, vocals, drums and backing vocals. Your interaction with your subscribers and comment section. You’re the best on YT!
These Dreams is Nancy's lead vocal, she recorded with a cold and a less than perfect performance, a song written by Bernie Taupin of Elton John connection.
HEART is an amazing band and both Ann with her incredibly powerful voice along with Nancy's guitar playing and the amazing harmonies that that they have especially as sisters make them one of my favorite bands of all time. It doesn't hurt that they are both incredibly beautiful!!
Young man I’m 73 yrs old veteran. I grew up with a lot of great music. Ann & Nancy are the real deal. Please come back with more Santana, he has over 50 yrs of great music. Europa, no one to depend on, samba pa ti, winning, oye como va, just a few. Trust me young man please go down this rabbit hole with me call Santana
Love that you're "living your best life" right now, hearing all these 70s (80s) bands. Guess that's why we old farts love to re-listen and enjoy you young puppies' reactions, 'coz it was our best life, too!
Seeing the genuine look of disbelief and joy on your face when the chorus came in was just worth everything. You are so expressive and I love your channel. I'm 70 by the way so grew up with all of this and I'm so grateful that I did.
Mollyboy, you make me smile watching Heart. They were just amazing in concert. I was lucky enough to see them a few times in Dallas Texas. They have SO MANY hits. From fairly soft rock to some heavier rock. Like everyone has said “These dreams” has Nancy singing the lead and it’s one of their biggest songs.
I absolutely love a strong rock chick singing about wanting a lover, claiming their desires as men so easily do, but from a female perspective. I also love when men claim their power back.❤ Beautiful! Really great reaction, MB. Thanks!
Great reaction 🤘 This song came on the radio last week, my teenage daughter was in the car with me and she went to change the station…I said “No! This is such a great song! Just listen, trust me.” It ended as we pulled in the driveway and as I was getting out of the car, she said, “That was good. Really good.”
One of my favorite bands. Ann's voice is amazing and Nancy kills it on the acoustic. My favorite song of theirs is a cute little tune called Dog and Butterfly. Saw them in concert about a decade ago in Baltimore, MD. Loved every minute of it. They are still out there rockin'.
If you want to hear more of Nancy's voice try her duet with Anne singing 'The Battle of Evermore' on Heart plays Led Zeppelin IV @8:51. Anne is playing the acoustic guitar and Nancy is playing the mandolin - a beautiful and powerful performance.
The smile on your face says it all. To be blown away by Nancy's voice please react to These Dreams, or even better, their rendition of Led Zeppelin's Battle of Evermore. Her vocal is on par with Ann and she absolutely slays on the mandolin.
@tomh1754 Maybe because it's not from their "classic" era, or even the 80's "comeback" years. It's a shame because they were still making great music, a lot of it unplugged, in the 90's and beyond. That version of BOE on the Alive in Seattle concert, from 2002, surpasses the Zeppelin original, imho.
Thank you, MollyBoy, for 'Alone' by Heart - one of my favourite songs of that period (1980s). That said, it was around 2014 when Def Leppard played in Canberra, Australia, supported by...Heart! I wish I could describe Heart live! Ann's vocals - sublime and so incredibly powerful, particularly in a stadium environment. Nancy Wilson can play ANY instrument. Talk about a dynamic duo! (Oh, and Def Leppard were utterly sensational too!)
I grew up on rock and country music from the late 60s until now and I've seen many of these bands. My children decided on traveling around and working for many of them. They always bring me guitar picks to add to my collection. I'm so envious of them getting to meet and work with performers that I idolize.
My man... we know what you're talking about! 😊. Great reaction to an awesome band. They're both amazing performers and gorgeous to boot. Got to see them live about 12 years ago and they really are that great.
Oh mate, they absolutely own this song. It’s a complete rock belter! One of my fave sing a longs. It’s an absolute rock classic, and it really showcases the voices. This is not an easy song either. She belts this out big time… It’s a def ‘can’t leave the car, the song isn’t done yet’ tune! X
Great reaction! I love how you appreciate the music from the 60s,70s, and 80s.The Wilson sisters are phenomenal! The whole band consists of some really great musicians.
Nancy does lead vocals on These Dreams
Live is the best
Do the studio version to see her beauty.
Great song!
Nancy has a great voice. And her backup singing is so in tune with Ann's, like only a sibling could do.
I NEVER knew that!!!!
You love Stevie Nick's and the Wilson sisters...now you need to hear some Pat Benetar she'll rock your world...Mollyboy...straight up!
Great idea. Start him in the deep end of the pool with Heartbreaker or You Better Run. Molly Boy will lose his shit!
Promises in the Dark and Hell is for Children
Don't forget Joan Jett!
And Chrisie Hynde and the Pretenders
Yes, you need to do some Pat, you will love her. Promises in the Dark, Heartbreaker, Hit Me with your Best Shot. So many more. Love ya Molly Boy
I graduated in the mid 80’s. You know what the best part about reactions like your is? I know what’s coming and it blowing your mind with songs I’ve heard a hundred times! Watching someone as young as you discovering the incredible 70’s and 80’s music… it makes me smile!

Same here. I graduated high school in 1988.
Same!
ditto - I was so waiting for the reaction to Ann's bridge vocals, which she created herself, because the music needed a bridge
@@mattbrown5511 Same, I was almost 17 when this came out! Hearing this song surely takes me back to that time.
Every teenage girl in 1987 screaming this song. Fantastic!
LOL I'm in my 60s and still do!
Yup!
I was a 9 year old boy when this song came out and I loved Heart. Their extreme talent just can’t be denied. I always seemed to gravitate to musicians with great talent even as a kid.
And I was 1 of them, all while rollerskating with a guy. 😘
How many female vocalists were inspired by Heart and how many sadly realized they were freaks, Ann one in a billion voice.
The power of Ann Wilson's vocals on display
Amen ! 😭❤❤❤
Young man, just do you doing you, we will keep showing up, you are a ton of fun to watch discovering music we grew up with! ❤
do HEART - Magic Man (1976) live you will fall in love
Magic Man... is my favourite❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
100% agree
❤❤❤❤
"Just try to understand.. " ❤
💯 on this one
When someone asks "What a Power Ballad is?
The answer is: "Listen to this".
And pretty much anything from the Scorpions.
Agreed! But this is a FEMALE power ballad…
Ann gives me chills every time I listen to this wonderful song. She’s incredible! ❤️
What About Love is another great 80s Heart song
'If looks could kill' is also a masterpiece.
Nix this overproduced 80s video. Listen to the Live in Seattle version of this to really hear Ann’s power. Also from Live in Seattle, check These Dreams for Nancy taking the lead. Those stripped down versions are so much better than the studio versions.
I will go to my grave saying it …. Gen X we had the best music ever growing up
Yes we did!👌
We sure did
thank boomers. i'm serious. be grateful ffs.
Amen ❤😊
These dreams is a great one u gtta do.
I was just going to say this. Nancy sings lead with Ann backing her up. He would enjoy it a lot!
My favorite Heart songs. I suggested it too.
What about love.... also a Heart 80s hit song.
I agree, but Heart rule, they’re just awesome, vocals crush and they rock hard. Gift to us all.
Confirmed... grestest female rock voice... you now own me with your reactions.. well done
Yes! These Dreams is a great showcase for Nancy's voice. What About Love is another good 80s tune that Ann sings as well.
These Dreams for sure!! Nancy’s voice is great as well
Their "Magic Man" is excellent as well! Thanks for memories! ❤
Magic Man is my favorite!
Heart doesn't have 1 bad song in their entire catalog!
Heart - If Looks could Kill - Nothing at All - These Dreams - What about Love
Yes to If Looks Could Kill. Never hear about that one so underrated.
"These Dreams" with Nancy singing with a cold is something you have to hear.
Ur reactions r adorable so cute and when u look into the camera its like ur r reaching into our souls 😍
Waitng for merch
Lolol nancy is worth stopping for! That look was precious 💕
Mollyboy, I must admit, of all the reactors of music videos, you are 100 % the best. Keep up with the old music vids. Best music ever and your impressions of the music is right on.
If you haven’t already react to These Dreams you will hear Nancy sing. They both have beautiful voices. Love them!! Great reaction!! 😊
My sister and I would listen to Heart, Pat Benatar and Blondie all the time on our record player. They never get old imo. Heart is still going strong.
Heart is a legendary band and has spanned decades with different genres. Much respect to the Wilson sisters
Again, this was just what was on the radio back in the day.
Best music of all time
We didn't know how good we had it...until it all started crumbling and blowing away. Bands are like an endangered species now. We were so lucky, and had no clue we were.

Ann Wilson is my all time favorite female singer!
✨🎵✨😎👍♥️✨🎵✨
I knew this one would blow your socks off. So happy you enjoyed it. What About Love is another 80s power ballad you will enjoy.
Bro just fell in love. Join the club buddy, join the club ;)
“Straight On” is still my favorite!!🤘🔥
GTA IV I think 😉
Live version is amazing
Yes and their cover of TELL IT LIKE IT IS.
A little story about how I was introduced to Heart. I was about 22 at a pizza parlor visiting a friend and he had just gotten an album from his friend in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ann Wilson... The word legendary comes to mind.💕
Hey Molly boy, I think we just saw you swoon for the first time 😂
Great reaction! No other band around quite like Heart 😊
I’ve seen them 3 times. They are on tour now with Cheap Trick. Ann is 74 and Nancy is 70. Love them.
Great reaction. Heart's song "These Dreams" was a number 1 hit and Nancy did the lead vocals.
I'm 55 and Nancy was one of my first crushes, her riding up on that horse does it every time.
'These Dreams'!!!!
This ol'great grandma loves watching you enjoy my music❤
Thank you!
These Dreams, is Nancy on lead Ann on Back up vocals, Ann also Sang with Jerry Central on an Alice in Chains song called 'Brother"
Ann and Nancy are PERFECTION! And they are still performing. Ann is coming back successfully from cancer treatment. They paved a very wide road for women in rock! ♥️♥️

Just found your channel and it's fab to see someone so young reacting to the music I grew up with. 70s and 80s the best years ever.
Heart was one of my favorite bands back in the 70’s! I still love them. Classic.

These Dreams!! You won't be disappointed.
Growing up in the 80s my number one crush was Nancy Wilson. That's why dreams was my fav heart song.
THESE DREAMS!! ❤❤
These Dreams is probably my #1 Heart song, I love to sing it (when no one's around!)
In the Army stationed in Germany, 1986, 110 mph down the autobahn between Furth and Erlangen blasting this so all the world could enjoy it!
I went to Erlangen Elementary for 2 years (Army Brat). I let out a little squeal when I saw this. Thanks for that
Dog and butterfly acoustic version by Heart is awesome.
These Dreams+Nancy vocals=Heaven
Heart has had popular songs and albums in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and all the way to their last studio album in 2016 called Beautiful Broken. They are starting their next tour in February 2025. Ann is going on 75 and Nancy will be 71 and they are still kicking butt.
Absolutely more heart! They’re excellent. Nancy is beautiful and one hell of a guitarist.
The stripped down acoustic version from "Live in Seattle 2002" is a must see. Nancy singing "These Dreams" from the same concert will blow your mind.
There is no denying...
The 60s, 70s, and 80s were the BEST 30 years for Music.
your reaction range is a HUGE CREDIT to you, Mollyboy. Great job, mate. Bring on 1m subscribers
Ann Wilson …. An undeniable powerhouse. Chills!!
These Dreams is Nancy's lead vocal, she recorded with a cold and a less than perfect performance, a song written by Bernie Taupin of Elton John connection.
Another vote for "These Dreams" next
Watching this knowing you have hit the 100,000 mark -- you deserve all the success! Great reaction again 💜
"Don't Tell Me" by Disturbed featuring Ann Wilson (74 years old and still sounding amazing) is fire!
HEART is an amazing band and both Ann with her incredibly powerful voice along with Nancy's guitar playing and the amazing harmonies that that they have especially as sisters make them one of my favorite bands of all time. It doesn't hurt that they are both incredibly beautiful!!
These Dreams has my forever crush Nancy on lead vocals
Best reaction ever. Pure joy.
I am glad to see more people of your generation exploring the music I enjoyed 40 + years ago.
This is the definitive power ballad.
Man, you are climbing fast on the ladder of one of my favorite reactors, good stuff.
Born June 19, 1950, Ann is still on tour and giving performances.
I also love when men claim their power back.❤
Beautiful!
Really great reaction, MB. Thanks!
Saw them twice in concert in the eighties. They were phenomenal in concert. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Imagine listening to this music a LOT as a child. 10 years and younger... XD The 70s, 80s and even 90s, are just amazing in all ways.
Battle of Evermore is the one EVERY Heart lover reactor should listen to but it just doesn't get enough love
@tomh1754
Maybe because it's not from their "classic" era, or even the 80's "comeback" years. It's a shame because they were still making great music, a lot of it unplugged, in the 90's and beyond. That version of BOE on the Alive in Seattle concert, from 2002, surpasses the Zeppelin original, imho.
These Dreams gets me in my feels. That song is amazing
Your reactions are some of the best on the internet, real, honest reactions mate, keep it up & good luck to you.
“Sweet Dreams”
“All I Wanna Do”
You must must listen to these Heart songs!!! ❤️🔥
Loved your reaction to Heart and how awesome the Wilson sisters are together and Ann Wilson still has it
Baby Boy
You haven’t missed out . Your Keeping These amazing groups ALIVE
SO HAPPY FOR YOU
Thank you, MollyBoy, for 'Alone' by Heart - one of my favourite songs of that period (1980s).
The Wilson sisters have two of THE best female voices of all-time, in my humble opinion.. absolute gems, I LOVE Heart! Thank you for this reaction 🙏🏻💕
With Agnetha and Anni-Frid from Abba, best harmony voices for sure
I agree 👌 ...on the softer side, Stevie Nicks & Christine McVie (RIP) honorable mention imho, 🎶
She belts this out big time…
It’s a def ‘can’t leave the car, the song isn’t done yet’ tune! X
Iconic song..your reactions are brilliant..such a fresh perspective.👍🏻
Great reaction! I love how you appreciate the music from the 60s,70s, and 80s.The Wilson sisters are phenomenal! The whole band consists of some really great musicians.
This was the song that introduced me to Heart when I was in high school. Epic then and still epic. ❤
Definitely These Dreams next. ❤
I love watching you discover the greatest music ever! I love the way you look directly into the camera!
