My opinion of the 1080p 30 fps vs 60 fps is, if you can, go for 60 fps, because you'll miss it if you ever need it for streaming needs that require that framerate (For the reason that you stated regarding streaming and your window must be the same speed).

I like the OBSBOT Tiny 2 but have a question about it: what if you were to use it without the fancy software and use it directly in something like Team or OBS or even with our own software using the ffmpeg library: how much of the fancy functionality like autotracking, hand gestures, etc... is still retained? In other words: are the cool features in the software or implemented in the camera hardware?

0:30 and here comes the biggest flaw. my motherboard doesn't have type-c on the back pannel. there is only 1 type-c on the front pannel(and this is quite common).
I’d went for the Obsbot one but the wire looks very short in that video… not sure if it will reach from the top of my monitor to the PC. Which is a stupid design flaw

I think the Kiyo is the obvious answer here, even if you won't be showing your face, because it could be used as hand cam and the details won't be lost, also if you're thinking about vtubing it seems great for face tracking

You always should look out for more professional used webcams as an alternative. Buissineses often lease their conference room setup instead buying. If the lease ends (5 to 6 years) the components go to secondary market. Esp. if special acessory is involved, you get PTZ cameras with great lenses insanly cheap. The camera for the logitech group system (same like PTZ pro/proII with different viewing angle) is 39€ on eBay without cable, psu and remote. You can get the cable for about 20€ at logitech support - or build it yourself.

I really like after $27 camera. If it priced near $27 it would be the one to buy. But the cheaper version is $150, so that camera must be more than $150. Far from $27 from previous camera.

Thanks for sharing - It wasn't that long ago when shopping in-store for electronics, one could essentially measure the build quality of something by it's weight, but now nefarious manufacturers conceal metal blocks inside cheaper gadgets sold online, like webcams and portable audio, to give them that 'traditional' quality feel. 🤔

Facts!!! I use my Samsung S22+ UHD, FHD & 8k for all my live streaming, and let me tell you, it works on all settings. For me, I have found that UHD @30fps is best for my live streaming!!!
Consistently using your phone's camera will trash your battery. I'd recommend using something you're not planning on using as your regular phone.

he should have tested them in a realistic setup, with the lighting of a regular office, not with his studio lights.
My Razer Kiyo died after 2 years. Overall it was an awful cam, autofocus kept hunting around so much that i had to disable it, and after a while the LED ringlight started flickering after which the cam just died completely.

@@Jamal2.00 You can right click on the task bar on the bottom of the screen next to the icons and then pull up task manager, then click on more, then find your pc specs that way. If you plan on streaming or gaming, or both, I'd recommend having a graphics card and a decent cpu, and at least 16gb of ram, but more likely 32gb. It really depends on your specs though. Chances are, if you have 8gb of ram and a low wattage psu, you may need to build a new pc if you plan on doing anything really intensive.
