    One thing to also consider, if you try and focus a reflective surface the camera "sees" itself which would cause a conflict in focus distance. Try a non-reflective object and see how the focus tracks.

    Personally I don’t think the price difference is justifiable with the little to zero difference in the two webcams

      @@kritexz The Tiny 2 is am overall better camera and will give you better auto focus and a better picture. But for most people in the streaming realm, the Tiny 2 Lite will be more than enough!

      @@nikai7778 I would actually recommend the OBSBOT Tail Air for something like that. It had a battery built in and also the ability to record on an SD card. These cameras need to be plugged into a computer.

    Saturation made it easy to tell the difference. When the Tiny 2 was reviewed, many of the cameras that it was compared to had unnatural saturation.

      @@bradclooney69 haha, yeah, i upload everything 1080p. However, you can still see the difference in quality. Resolution won't be full 4k in playback in the video of course, but you'll still see the clarity of the resolution itself.

    Great video. A question: which is the difference between the two webcams when you record a dark environment around you? (A thing I'm usually doing, yes, even if it sounds wrong.) I guess there's quite a difference in such a case, talking about noise, as you need to raise the ISO. Am I right? Thanks!
    Note: the dark environment is exactly why I'm thinking to buy a better webcam.

      @@LoScrittoreDivergente Great question! Ultimately the Tiny 2 will give you a better picture in lower light because it has a larger sensor. But webcams in any case won't do great in low light. They'll work but without light you'll definitely be dealing with noise. But they will both work well enough to at least see you as long as there is some light on your face. Hope this helps!

    Thank you for this video comparing the 2 models. I am leaning towards the Tiny 2 Lite but I have a question. I have a Quntis Monitor Light Bar HY214 PRO connected to the op of my monitor, will I be able to attach this webcam as well? Thanks

      @@BillGillespie1952 Great question! My initial thought is not really. It's possible it may sit on it but not as well as a monitor itself. So it would be something you'd have to just test.

    Hi friend, I'm between the Obsbot Tiny 2 and the Sony ZV-1F (with an Elgato Cam Link) for streaming. I usually use a green screen. Which one do you recommend more? I'm considering it because Obsbot does have more comprehensive software. Regards.

      It really depends on what you would need most for both these cameras. If you're using Green Screen, they will both do great but the Sony ZV-1F is probably going to ultimately have the higher quality image. However, you're losing all the functionality the Tiny 2 offers in it's PTZ and tracking features. But for a green screen, that may not matter.

      @@cabisports It definitely going to be simpler to go with the webcam. It's designed to be used in that capacity. But the ZV-1F will be a better picture and more advanced auto focus. But in your case, the savings in money on the Tiny 2 and the simplicity may actually be the way ro go.

      @@MichaelKrisa Great question! The Tiny 2 plugs directly into your computer and operates as any other webcam in that respect. Just plug it in with the included USB-C cable and you're good to go!

      @@MichaelKrisa That would be for converting a camera with in hdmi output into a uvc or webcam type operation. It's not needed for any of their cameras though.

    Do you know if you can record downward videos? Let's say I want to record an horizontal video like in Tasty videos, using a 90 degree tripod, will it work with both cameras? Thanks a lot for the answer.

      @@andreavoltajeamor Yes, you can face it downward to do top down shots. It will even auto flip to be facing the right direction.

    I bought one and it arrived today. I noticed that after a few minutes of use, it got very hot. Is this normal? It's so hot that you can't keep your finger on the camera for more than 5 seconds. It's very hot, it feels like it's going to burn you. Is this normal?

    I used Canon for recording gaming videos and it would turn off every 30 minutes. Does this stay on all the time? Is the quality really good?

      @@CeeC_CeeC Yes, this stays on all the time while it's being used by OBS or any other program or application. Quality is top notch! The Tiny 2 is a little higher quality feeling than the lite but they are both nice cameras.

      @@Keltonchanning I don't believe so, you can just set the camera to 4k. However, your output will be dependent on what platform you're streaming to. Twitch only allows 1080p. TH-cam is 4k.

      @@adityaknowledgeverse well, it's a 4k webcam for video. So up to a 4k screenshot if you have a 4k monitor. It's not a stills camera so mega pixels isn't how you determine it's resolution.

      I do use the Tiny 2 to stream but it's not my main camera. It's one of my camera angles. I use the Sony A6400 as my main streaming camera.

      @@EagleGarrett: no, what I mean in theory is that given the same aperture, ISO 100 in camera A should give the same exposure value as ISO 100 in camera B, no matter the sensor size. Sure, there may be more noise as a result in the smaller sensor, because the signal needs to be amplified further. In practice there can be substantial differences, however.

      @@piotrgraniszewski8544 Ohh, I got ya. Yeah, that's why I mentioned it though, there was a difference in ISO performance between these two. It took about 400 more ISO to achieve the same appearance in the Tiny 2 Lite as it did in the Tiny 2. Something to note as that will of course effect the noise level as well which changes the overall image produced.

    I was liking both cameras until I heard about the AI feature, AI is never allowed to view my face for the same reasons no one is allowed to digitize my DNA or any biometrics.
