  • The best Woodturning finishes can be confusing and challenging to apply, and I know this from trying many different finishes over the years. However, this is a one-application finish that looks incredible and has become my go-to choice. Ubeaut Polishes Aussie oil finish.
    After trying different finishes, I always return to U-Beaut Polishes for their reliability, quality, and ease of use. Their finishes make my wood-turning pieces shine like never before, and I am proud to use them in my projects.

    Great Demo Kerry. Usually I'd say try some Kustom grit, but EEE is also a great Aussie company.

      no problem at all, Colin. I would suggest for smaller pieces getting some Aussie oil. Let me know how you go. Cheers, Kez

    Very informative, as always. Bought a bottle of Aussie oil at an estate sale and it has been my favorite finish ever since. The only question us Yanks have is how many bottles of oil can you get from your average Aussie?

    I enjoyed your presentation and especially with the additional information that pops up. Aussie Oil is great, and I have been turning for 6 years but have not used the EEE product.

      Thanks, Steve. The editing process can take some time because when I film, I sometimes forget what I needed to say, and the pop-up help so much. I'm glad you got something from the video. EEE is an amazing product and just boosts your pieces' performance. Thanks again, mate.

    Excellent video Kerry. I find finishing very confusing and a little unpredictable even after ten years of turning.

    I use a very similar process on my timber pens, the only difference being I generally use u beaut glow after the EEE, and I tend to use a micro fibre cloth to apply.

      Thanks for the comment mate. I use glow on smaller stuff; its amazing stuff 👌

    I need to try the Aussie Oil. I’ve been using Glow for years now and have been really happy with the results. What’s the difference?

    • @KerryCorney
      @KerryCorney  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glow is amazing. In my experience on larger platters and bowls, I've found Aussie oil easier to apply. I still use Glow and Shellawax cream on smaller projects👌

    Beautiful bowl! I’ve been experimenting with Organoil Burnishing Oil, and I really like the finish. How does Aussie Oil compare?

    • @KerryCorney

      Aussie oil will make it shine like glass, and the grain pop! Hope I've explained the mate. Are you in Australia mate?

      @@KerryCorney Yeah mate, I think I'm not far from you. You're based in Brisbane right? I'm out Ipswich way. Just starting to get into woodturning and really enjoying it so far. Your instagram page has given me some great inspiration!! Love your work!
      I've played with some of U-Beaut's wax finishes before, but haven't tried the EEE Polish or the Aussie Oil yet. Been impressed with their waxes though, so I expect the oil will be just as good!

    • @KerryCorney
      @KerryCorney  ปีที่แล้ว

      The oil is amazing mate, just has to be applied the right way and plenty of light on the project to see if you were light on anywhere.
      Thanks so much for the support mate, Yep Brisbane boy. I will chat to you on Insta> cheers mate
