It looks good...years ago I used to use linseed oil and/or different colored oil-based paint twisted up in a piece of old towel (on my turned candle holders) and run the lathe at a moderate speed. That towel would get quite warm and it really worked that stuff into the project. Some turned out looking quite like marble or other stone
Hi I use Yorkshire Grit can I use these two products you recommended as well after applying the grit or do I not need to use Yorkshire Grit if I use these two alone?

I use boiled lineseed oil for that
