I’m a surgical assistant at a County hospital. Every state is required to follow this procedure pertaining to an uninsured person. If he went to a private hospital, and ER doctor would examine him, next an admitting Representative would begin the process for Medicaid, lastly transferred to the local county hospital. Once admitted into the county hospital, his Medicaid insurance would be active. This application process takes less 10 minutes. The county hospital ER doctors would continue his examination and finally contact the on-call orthopedic surgeon. Orthopedic surgeon would take him to surgery immediately or the following day. No surgeon would send a patient home. This type of surgery requires immediate attention. His foot could permanently be damaged because of poor circulation. Plus his surgeon will have to re-break all the bones. This procedure is approximately five hours. So his story is a load of crap. Also Rafael Tovar is a liar. I’ve seen many cases where he flat out lie’s.
Why doesn’t the court ask for his tax forms/proof of earnings? Is there a way that the courts can do an investigation on where his money is/get deposited such as bank accounts in his or someone else’s name? No way does this person only deal in cash we all know a lot of bills are paid electronically these days. @@mrjones2721no, it doesn’t. I broke mine recently very badly and the surgeon told me to try and be as active as possible and do the physio exercises as many times per day as I could handle it. In between icing it several times a day. Once they put the cast/boot on, my ankle was completely immobilized and not painful. It was only when I had the boot off and did something stupid, like bang into something, that it was painful, and it didn’t last long. OTC Tylenol or whatever is strong enough to manage the pain and they do not give you anything stronger, like opioids. And even then, only after surgery and only for a day or two. He’s a total liar when he said he was out of it on pain meds. It was awkward with the crutches, but I was up and about in a few days after the break.

Even WITH Insurance, if my wife or I broke a leg right now we would lose everything. Especially the wife since she would lose her income for a couple of months. The house? Gone. He probably hurt his foot on purpose when he was high. His time and lie’s are running out, it’s only a matter of time before he gets what’s coming to him.

This is pathetic. This guy will desperately keep HIMSELF out of the system, but could care less that his children are in the system. And they are girls, which is worse. But he's good with that...as long as HE isn't going to prison. HE is worth the $$ it took for a criminal attorney. But his children are not. And he cannot work for 3 months? I would love to see those medical records. His criminal record proves he's a lowlife, he doesn't deserve his children to be returned and hopefully his rights will be terminated completely, because there is no way this guy is going to comply with anything this court asks of him.

Bed rest is not required for a broken ankle! Dad keeps looking over to someone else in the room before he answers some of the questions.
The ankle needs to be elevated, which is easiest to do in bed.
@@mrjones2721no, it doesn’t. I broke mine recently very badly and the surgeon told me to try and be as active as possible and do the physio exercises as many times per day as I could handle it. In between icing it several times a day. Once they put the cast/boot on, my ankle was completely immobilized and not painful. It was only when I had the boot off and did something stupid, like bang into something, that it was painful, and it didn’t last long. OTC Tylenol or whatever is strong enough to manage the pain and they do not give you anything stronger, like opioids. And even then, only after surgery and only for a day or two. He’s a total liar when he said he was out of it on pain meds. It was awkward with the crutches, but I was up and about in a few days after the break.
Pretty sure he's laying down because it would be a waste of his time to get up for court. I don't think pain meds are keeping him dumb either I think he's been drinking too much bleach and his parents are related like siblings. I thought this was a joke it's just him that's a joke but he put a job out for his lawyer though she had to work for this one now she's going to need therapy just to keep herself from slitting her own throat. He is the example of why abortion should not be illegal. He is actually the example of why in some cases it should be mandatory
My son broke his leg 3 spots and his ankle.. he couldn’t put any weight on this leg and had to sit with it elevated.

Even WITH Insurance, if my wife or I broke a leg right now we would lose everything. Especially the wife since she would lose her income for a couple of months. The house? Gone. Everything in our house? Gone. Unless we declare bankruptcy immediately. Our deductible is 5 grand, so yeah the insurance is pretty much useless except for regular doc visits, which still cost 100.00 bucks a pop out of pocket.

The way Dad hesitated when she asked if he has insurance, I bet he does! My son broke his ankle completely off at school, it dangled. Anyway I did not have insurance & honestly thought the school was going to cover it. They don't cover anything. After 3 surgeries & the er the full bill was over 250k. I don't know what happened to this Dad his bills if he really doesn't have coverage is going to be high!

Will pay insurance for his possessions but will not pay for health insurance 😳. Also takes out payday loans which he pays 800 a month on which tells me he retakes out the loan each month.. Has kids the state is paying for. Right. Great dad. 🙄

CPS slamming him so gave truck back and refused to tell amount paid. Would not be able to pay Attorneys, only $900 in bank. True, getting rid of the truck made him look like a bad father! Saying Orthopedics $10,000 "if" he pays them? . Great job. Yes, said he did not pay rent, then said he did. He just keeps lying and digging a hole. Funny $900 in bank but destitute. All family helped bond out but will not help while he is laid up?

To me that is being a poor CPS case worker.
