I wish CCP would make more books in their own universe! I really like the books from Tony Gonzales.
Its a shame CCP ditched the political themes for 'aliens'. I'm guessing the books didn't sell very well.

Is there anyone here that can see thee Holy Roman Empire being portrayed in this beautiful civilization. Any person who studied history on advanced level, will tell you this is exactly The Holy Roman Empire. Pronouncing the name of the empire being discussed in the video could just be a terrible be a mistake. But pronouncing starGATE is obviously machine.
So far its interesting, but the stuff about slavery really wouldn't work in real life. Slaves that aren't guaranteed freedom or a better life in servitude when they age usually end up either giving up, offing themselves, or launching rebellions. This is why the Native Americans made bad slaves. They had nothing to gain by working hard since they were working their own land and thus had no reason to keep living. Disease decimated their population but even the survivors gave up.
Also, neither me nor most people in EVE are bad slave owners. The men and women we own don't have to do any work and get to serve on our mining ships in chair jobs and get fed good food and have plenty of time for recreation and study. Also, by not venturing into nullsec or even lowsec, they live long life in safety.

Would not be surprised if Amarr started phasing out slavery as they currently have it due to the economic reality that, at a certain tech level- one which we had already reached a couple centuries ago- Slavery holds BACK economic development.

This Eve online looks pretty cool. Great graphics, interesting story line. Can't come a day too soon in reality. It's nice to know when mankind finally achieves interstellar space travel, slavery makes a come back. What's wrong with owning a couple two or three human beings? Everybody's doing it. lol And I've always wondered if in the future will the police still patrol, and spaceships get speeding tickets? lol

Good lore videos are something that Eve really needs.
Your video is promising, but not fully there yet. It is overwhelming, bombarding viewers with facts while at the same time skipping over much needed context.
For exceptional lore videos have a look at Lutein09 (for Warhammer 40k) or Tex Talks Battletech. Something like that for Eve would be awesome and surely successful.
