AMEN! Maybe they should see what it feels like to have ppl tell them they should have died instead of someone they cared about and they wouldn't throw it around like that. That is so screwed up...
That's extremely mean. Chris shouldn't have died either. That sucked. But it happened. David Spade is awesome. He and adam sandler were great friends to chris. What jerks to say that to someone. Do they think that famous people dont have feelings or something? How hateful!
Spade helped Farley succeed as well. Farley needed a guy like Spade to balance things out. Fat guy fall down go boom got old when the entire movie was based around that concept. Beverly Hills Ninja is a prime example. They were a great team, no one more important than the other.

I actually got emotional watching this. Chris Farley and David Spade were such an amazing duo and Tommy Boy was one of my favorite childhood movies I still love to this day. Watching this, I both laughed and cried... RIP Chris Farley
I always feel bad for him about this. For as close as those two were, it must be painful to always live in the shadow of your dead friend, no matter what you do.
I love how David could always make Chris laugh, even though their styles of humor seemed so different on the surface. They knew each so well, and out of everyone who was close on the SNL cast, they were the most like brothers.
Chris Farely was a legend and Spade is incredibly underrated. Spade’s new show is so good and I’m glad people are giving him the recognition he deserves.
You can tell that these two just had the upmost respect and admiration for each other, and had all kinds of fun together. In interviews even today, you can tell how much David still misses Chris.
1:45 the look on David’s face really says how much he loved the man in the suit screaming like a maniac and the fact that he knew Chris would say “smoking doobies”

It’s sad to think he would have to pay prostitutes to spend time with him. He was so funny and adorable- like a big teddy bear! A man so loved by so many must have had a huge heart and lots of love to give. He probably did drugs to fill the void inside of him😞
He also tried to fill the void by becoming a celebrity. He was not happy, obviously. Unfortunately his mental illness doesn’t seem to get much exposure. Too bad, it might help people in similar circumstances and remove some of the stigma.
Goodbye Girl1 really sucks that everyone loved him but he didn’t love himself. He thought they all just wanted to see the fat guy fall ... dude was a damn athlete .... some people get ripped like Bruce Lee and some just get big like a football player on the line
