I love how good of a mood he is in all the time. He’s so awesome.
I remember I had a layover at LAX and got a hotel. Put the TV on and Spade was on Kimmel. I thought that was pretty cool.

I have only watched Ellen a ton of times, the episodes he is on.
@@ThomasRoy3r I think during the pandemic, in his show he would record from his crazy mansion foyer, he was in a bad mood at one point and he said so and it just made it funnier.
David said Paul was at Pollo Loco and Jimmy quickly brings up the fact that he's vegan and the genius part is that David INSTANTLY says "he was picketing"! He's sooo quick with his humor.

Spade has a breed of sarcastic humor that is unmatched. He can so effortlessly create a joke out of thin air when simply conversing.
I swear I could listen to David Spade talking all day any day.

Totally. I'll sit on TH-cam, for a couple hours on some days, just trying to find Spade clips I've never seen or re-watching some I've already seen 3 times. He never misses a beat.

Get his audiobooks. I have only bought a few, and they r his. Jessica Simpson's book is actually really good too. Don't hold that against me, but her life was really interesting.
His Diet Coke story at the end had me in tears. I'm not sure I'd heard that one before
Spade is so underrated! He's a comedy murderer. He absolutely kills, all the time. Also, he's super fun to laugh along with, when someone cracks him up on the podcast.
Yes, he, and not Sandler, should be the biggest big ticket celeb! Sandler is never funny!

Fly On The Wall gets the absolute best guests. It's crazy but makes sense cuz SNL is incredibly historic.

They have the best guests, but Dana never lets them speak haha he's too busy trying to get his Carson in for the 10000th time

@@margaretpeabody243 i just used johnny as an example, he just runs through his own catalogue of characters that we have all heard so many times instead of letting anyone speak. I was a fan from the first episode, but by the 4th or 5th I really couldn't stand to listen to Dana anymore 😅 I think he's great in absolutely any other media format

I'm one of those late-career Spade converts. I'm not sure why, but I never really got into him on SNL or his films with Farley or Joe Dirt. However, I vividly remember watching his stand-up years ago and something just clicked. He's razor sharp, dry as a bone, and it's effortless! The guy is just naturally funny, humor flows out of him like Diet Pepsi.

My buddy and I were just talking about how underrated David Spade and Dana Carvey are...little did I know that they have a podcast together.
Dana Carvey is in an entirely different universe level of talent.
Damn he is 58 , he looks great.
Especially since he’s live through so many living hells.
self depricating humor is so great from David, and he is a truly nice and charitable , good person.
My favorite is when Jimmy was guest on fly on the wall and David tells the story about the Haiti fundraiser with Sean Penn. The bidding on Paul McCartney concert!! Hilarious 😂
Spade's Comedy Central late night show was terrific. Should have lasted much longer.

I love Jimmy Kimmel. I can tell hes a really down to earth normal guy living a fantastic life. But I think its time to help his sidekick spread his wings and produce his own show on Telemundo. Don't keep Guillermo a caged bird. Help him get and Jimmy please produce his own show on Spanish television and let him shine. It's good for you, good for him, good for Spanish speaking television channels. Love and goodwill to all.

You know David Spade hasn't really been in any big films/shows lately but I do feel like he has made a sort of resurgence. Idk at least for me, I love stand up comedy and his appearances on comedy podcasts in the last 5 years plus his great show Lights Out and his own stand up have really made me remember Spade recently and pay attention whenever he's doing something. The pod w/ Dana is great btw.
Jimmy isn't wrong, I like David even more now, the podcast is great and he and Dana have such good chemistry. I was one of the 3 people that watched his show on Comedy Central

It is the “Get Back” documentary, but I think what he meant was that most of the songs in that doc ended up being on the “Let It Be” album released about a year later.

Great story when spade lived in Paradise Valley near Phoenix I ended up in his house in the middle of a huge party because I was delivering food from the country club he belong to and he’s like dude if you’re off work hang out so I did and I don’t remember a better night there was wall-to-wall seriously beautiful women and comedians and it was one of the nights of my life I’ll never forget! Thx David thanks for that night

David Spade is honestly the best interviewee you can get. He’s not my favorite actor or comedian. But he absolutely steals the show in every interview. Norm, Conan, Howard Stern it doesn’t matter. He always steals the show against legends.
