Sandler always seems so genuine and humble it's so nice to see him do so well
I like this gentleman.
Say what you want about the Sandman, but you really cannot argue with that. He is so nice in every interview. And in person to regular people like restaurant workers. He’s very nice.
@@HeyThatsInteresting97Adam Sandler is very down to earth but so recognised he can't go on a train in new York because he would get mobbed. It's a shame really how people treat celebrities. If we all treated them like another human instead of a God then maybe they would all be closer to the public

David Spade’s standup is actually hilarious. I randomly wound up in a room in Vegas for his show, and was blown away. Waaaaaaay funnier than I thought he’d be.
He wrote a majority of the best skits during the best era of SNL.
I met him backstage in Vegas back in 91. He's a turd blossom. Total piece .. He opened for Bobcat. He sucks. When his staff tazed him I laughed my a off. Totally deserved it.
Thats not true, he barley got sketches on, he admits he wasn’t a good sketch writer. His big one was Gap girls, but only a few others in 7 years. Thats why he started doing Hollywood Minute during the news.
I like how Sandler acts like he hasnt talked or worked with Spade in 30 years. 😂
Yeah, I was confused, I thought they were close friends? Then I realized that it would be genius if Sandler was purposely pretending that he barely knows Spade.

@@wesvirginia4611 covid happened so everything shut down, spade started doing another kind of comedy show from his home after comedy central cancelled lights out in March 2020 I think. To bad, it was really good.
Hopefully Netflix, Amazon, or HBO picks this up quick. David spade doing videos by himself during this quarantine is better than anything on Comedy Central!

I think Spade would do great in a serious role. Sandler, Carey, Robin Williams...they've all done well with dramas. Spade would make a really cool quirky bad guy.

I love to see Spade have a resurgence, his talent deserves it, and I love how Sandler gives him the credit he deserves!
I met these dudes when they stayed at a hotel i worked at in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago. Seriously some of the most genuine and down to earth dudes. Its great when the people you grew up idolizing turn out to be just as you'd hoped.
The Gap Girls shot of Farley choking Spade while Sandler laughs is hilarious and a perfect representation of those guys and their relationship.

What I've always loved about Sandler is that it appears money didn't change him as a person. He seems like a guy who you could approach, say "hey man, big fan I love your work" and he'd give a genuine "Thank you". As a fan, I appreciate that. One of the comedic greats.

It is how i met david and became a fan. Loved that show. Whole family watched it. It was kinda weird since my parents rarely let us watch sitcoms with raunchy joke.

haven't watched SNL in years, but they were staples to my upbringing in the early 90's with there weird, off the wall skits. Love the sarcasm of Spade and the weirdness of Sandler! The original Adam Sandler comedy CD was beyond hilarious. THEYRE ALL GONNA LAUGH AT YOU!!!!!
Spade was the best in Rules of Engagement. That show rocks. I never understood why that show is not all over the place, its huge.

This made my heart feel so full.
Spade, Farley, and Sandler were my childhood SNL heroes. They were so funny they stole the show every week. Fast Forward to Tommy Boy and Black Sheep and Sandler's Billy Madison was so iconic they solidified these three as comedy geniuses.

Of all Sandler’s appearances on Talk shows, this is the only one that he’s really himself. All relaxed and sharing great memories with Spade and kind of goofy in a way that he’s comfortable talking to a long time friend. Not pressured to answer questions, just there to have a good time
For some reason I think Spade would be great in a dramatic movie.
The most classic bit on SNL was: The "Scared Straight" Prison one with Martin Lawerence and Farley. It had all the great SNL cast including Sandler and Spade!!
I love hearing Spade’s laugh over the years. It had not changed.

Who else picked up on the 6-6-6 by Spade and Sandler. They were pretty smooth with it as you can tell by Sandler’s smile after saying the third 6 off Spade saying the first two. 6 minutes-6 minutes-6 minutes.

Comedy Central came under new ownership who decided to just do animated series, all their live action stuff was cancelled. TBS going same way now with just "reality" series.
I loved playing They're All Gonna Laugh at You back in the day with my friends. Still have the cd in a binder to this day.
