    you can use diffuse shader, shader to rgb, and color ramp connected into the mix shader for the color pink leaves in eevee then adding a sun light and adjust the shading of the color in color ramp to have a shading color

    I think its better to set vertex group, go into particle system and start painting leaves live with weight paint
    Better because you get visual representation and better because you have fine grained control over how leaves are painted with weight paint
    One thing I notice is that if you have lowpoli branch it is more difficult to paint, since weight paint needs vertices (more of them)

    blender 2.83.1 objet mode , alt+C dont work,
    I don't know why but many times shortcuts like this don't work for me, and I'm not the only one, that's why in the tutorials I find it frustrating that they use a lot of shortcuts, and they don't show where in the menus the actions are.

    • @pinkpocketTV
      @pinkpocketTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'll suggest you to change your keybinding profile to blender 2.79. You can do that by going in the edit menu under the preferences. Also you can find the conversion option under this menu:
      Object Mode -> Object -> Convert To

    How did you increase the size of the brush when marking the branches? Thank you for the tutorial, really helpful!

    • @pinkpocketTV
      @pinkpocketTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's, F to increase the size and Shift + F to increase the strength of the brush.

    what is the license for that texture?

  • @AnAN-bn1ol
    @AnAN-bn1ol 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    will the color ramp actually edit the texture, possible to export it? or this is all render?

    • @pinkpocketTV
      @pinkpocketTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For creating textures you will need to bake all the texture maps in cycles.

    • @AnAN-bn1ol
      @AnAN-bn1ol 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pinkpocketTV yes but the ramp randomized it, I wonder how he will bake if there is 1 uv space, its ok to transform into pink value, but if 1 is white and second is pink , hmm

    • @pinkpocketTV
      @pinkpocketTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually just bring the leaf texture into photoshop and create some random leaves with different values of pink. Then bring those leaf images as planes in blender and put them in a collection called leaves. After that add a particle system to the tree bark and select the leaves collection instead of the object. Then you can apply your particle system in the modifiers tab and finallyexport it as an fbx in whichever application you like.

    • @pinkpocketTV

      Make sure that you have made a vertex group and assigned all the faces (that you want the leaves to be on) to it. Then make sure that the vertex group is assigned in the particles tab in the particles influence section.
