The Doom hack was pretty good. Having enemies turn into less dangerous enemies when you shoot them is a concept I saw in an old PC sidescroller called Secret Agent. It was made by Apogee.
Another one about going to the supermarket (actually, ANY store for that matter) you always get those people who stand right smackdab in the middle of the aisle right where everybody has to walk and they stand there talking to one of their friends whose standing next to them so the two of them are blocking the whole aisle. And if you politely excuse yourself and try to move past them hoping one of them will move to let you by, they stand there and give you this look like "who the hell do you think you are?" And then you get up to the register and there's this little old lady holding up the line because she has to stand there and get the exact change out of her purse which is an archeological dig in-and-of itself so by the time she finally gets the exact change the line is like 10 people deep. Ahh the supermarket.

Someone should make a hack of that baby/daddy game but instead of the baby trying to die and the dad saving it, it should be a cat trying to pee and puke on everything and the owner trying to stop it. Lol
