Mike you and Ryan are exactly how me and my friends used to be back in the good old days My favorite one still is the super mario world nothing beats that Me and my sister have an inside joke about it were like "it's like the macy's day parade...here comes torpedo ted everybody" LOL
The sigma version of Ninja Gaiden actually DID greatly alter the water part of the game. They didn't remove it, but it was changed and doesn't take nearly as long
And now it's coming to the Switch in a collection called Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection which has Sigma 1, Sigma 2 and Razor's Edge. I wonder if he would try that.
Wrath of the Black Manta was such a pain in the ass but a game worth exploring in the later levels. I'll never forget the guy with the red shirt who you interrogate who looks like a grinch trying to show little boys his private area
@@mikematei Fun fact - the US versions of Lolo 1 and 2 are made up almost entirely of levels recycled from the Eggerland games. They essentially hand-picked many of the easier puzzles for the Western market. Lolo 3 recycles a couple of them also, but not very many. The Famicom Lolo 1 and 2 (which use the game engines of the US Lolo 2 and 3 respectively) are entirely new puzzles - most of which are much harder than the US releases.
I'm always late to these so my comment gets buried. Anyway, Mike it's good to see you doing something you love doing and are passionate about. Also good to see Ryan too. You guys bring back memories of my friends and I kicking back and playing NES. Of course no everdrive back then. Just wanna say I enjoy your vids and thank for what you do. P.S. The Mario Paint version of the T.M.N.T. intro you did was so bad ass!
Very nice to see Mike is still friends with the Cinemassacre crew. That's what made the last few years of (Cinemassacre) shows good....just retro video game buddies hangin out.
It's so weird, as someone who grew up in the 80s, seeing 2 "nerds" (sorry?), ~not knowing a thing about Last Ninja. 8:50 Last Ninja was THE game at the time, not the NES version though. And, yet, it's like you've never heard about it. Last Ninja, Last Ninja 2, Last Ninja 3, Last Ninja Remix.. and the music have been covered over & over again, It's legendary.. I bet it's close to Mega Man in terms of remixes & covers. Imo, it's like the 4/5th most recognizable game from the 80s, behind like Mario->Zelda->Megaman->Castlevania/Last Ninja.
They covered the plutonium thing in Back to the Future. Doc Brown said something about how it might be sold on every street corner in the future but that Plutonium wasn't something you could get your hands on in 1955.
Great video. Ninja Gaiden Black did remove the water level and cut out alot of the bullshit puzzles. Sigma probably doesnt have the water level either but Black was still my favorite version.
Listening to Dark Castle is the funniest shit ever. Many parents who bought their children a CDI or Genesis with Dark Castle probably committed suicide.
What uppppp Someday soon you should stream lost odyssey give that game a try. It's on 360. Physical is pretty pricey but the digital version is pretty cheap and available on all xbox consoles. Highly recommend that game if you ever wanted to stream a JRPG.
omg i never could figure out that star trek game either when i rented it. The instruction manual was missing, I think you needed it in order to understand wtf to do, or else it's a lot of trial and error.
Come on Mike. You especially should know it’s pronounced Ninja GAYdon. I love how excited and energetic u get when you have a guest. Maybe cuz you’ll get benefits later.
You know what's a great two player game, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs. But only the first level, just turn the game off after that (it's an okay game, just not for two players really).
*Nerd voice*: Plutonium was first artificially produced in 1940, so it would have been available in 1955.
This was a fun stream, Mike.
Ryan is great on this, you should do this more often, or maybe I just missed the other episodes of you two.

Mike’s a great friend.
Yeah, totally!
You can clearly see he has a very Huge... Heart, atleast 10 inches.
Next have Bootsi
Cyborg Justice is a very underrated Genesis game, me and my friends used to play that game for hours back in the day.
It's a great game, but one you should get the instruction book for or look up the controls, it's not very intuitive.

Love how you guys have more passion for retro games than Nintendo does with their own library of retro games, on the Switch!
They're all a great group of guys.
More Mike and Ryan videos.
Great steam guys, you and Ryan have a good chemistry togheter.
YESSS!! FINALLY!! Since the James & Mike split, things haven't been the same. Glad we got something that feels Normal. We need more of this!!
@@djchristian82 why did you feel the need to make a smart comment?

Mike & Ryan! Nice to see you guys together again 41:16 🤣🤣🤣

Just two dude having fun outside the mens room
Mike is a gangsta
Hey Mike of the nerd episodes you wrote, did you change your mind about any of them?
Maybe TMNT, which I helped with.
When did Ryan transition?
Hi Ryan! Big fan
Haunting is insane for a cart game
12:37, "Fancy Charles", ha.
you should do an Adventures of Lolo 2 or 3 stream. or maybe the Famicom versions if you really feel masochistic
Yeah I need to do Lolo 2 and 3. There also other "Eggerland" games.

outer wilds is a very unique fps puzzle game. You fly around a functioning solar system and explore.
I never knew to burn the bush until adulthood.
Always burn the bush
You fellas got great on screen chemistry

Im surprised when he was talking about that ninja gaiden game having a difficult water level 60% through he didn't make a zelda reference 😂
Good work. Your face at the beginning was so like end my life. LOL.
Keep up the great streams Mike.
I love stuff like this, thanks for all the great content!!
NICE to see Ryan back with you Mike! This will be awesome to watch!

Cool to see Ryan again!
It's fine
are you a big fan?
Thank you Ryan
Polterguy is a better Beetlejuice game than Beetlejuice.
Would like to see you play Resident Evil 4 or God of War 2.
He’s mentioned wanting to try RE4 a couple of times but hasn’t done so yet. Hopefully soon. I’d like to see it too.
FFS, Defender of the Land actually looks like a fucking awesome game. No YT ever plays it a meaningful amount.
It was a fun game on the Amiga and Atari ST computers
Great Stream ! Need more to keep my sanity in this insane world.

1:15:46, you should do a time lapse drawing of that in Mario paint.
Wow another strong video Mike! Thanks for the 1972 Peter Pan Peanut Butter
bring on ryan more, he's fun!
1:45, HYPE TRAIN, lol
A great way to end the week!
Also, dude had crazy energy. Love it! Your streams are the best.

Hey, ryan, good to see you!
I smell more Siphon Filter in the works
I have had Justin Silverman on and Newton. Hope to see you guys on there too sometime for sure.
omg i never could figure out that star trek game either when i rented it. The instruction manual was missing, I think you needed it in order to understand wtf to do, or else it's a lot of trial and error.
Ryan is starting to look like Tiny Tim
Jeckel Hyden. You're welcome. lol.

Well I never played skyward lol but don't get me wrong I understand the point
Hey Ryan
Ryan get a haircut or wash it at least
1:08:08, looked for this game for months at Funcoland for my Saturn. Ryan is right, the game is trash.
Hey Mike, oh awesome you got Ryan playing with ya. 👍 can't watch this all but I'm excited to watch it when i get time. 🎮
Ryan has a Hong Kong t-shirt on?
You need the newest sega genesis everdrive for Sega CD games to work
So either Mega SD or Mega Everdrive Pro basically.
Come on bring back the group in the video rental shop
Those games are nice but when will they announce a Pee-Wee game
1:15:44 derp 🤣

3 years ago. They were babies
Thanks for another great video and I hope all is well with you. I hope you and Ryan will come on my show sometime.
Hey Mike! Play Crystalis Rebalanced Hack
sup, ryan and mike
I thought they announced breath of the wild 2 is coming this year.
Nope. They mentioned we’ll get news on the game later this year. That’s it.
is it ture you are starring in the new joker movie?
I did remember play a weird amd worst NES game was Super Pitfall on my childhood when I was a kid 8 years old since 2009
So all the screen wave hate Mike theories are pretty much dead right?
Zelda references
Wooo! Ryan!
794 1:44:32 hack ideas hahaha
phazer lazerrr
Ryan ftw
Fall guys sucks. Nice exterior, shallow content
Long before fall guys, xbla had doritos crash course
Haro mike

Ugh.
I like how they’re complaining about a 3rd splatoon game but there’s 15 mario games and 15 zelda games. Five other franchises a chance for once
*F Zero and Star Fox crying in the corner*
