Yeah if you replaced your hard drive and backed it up before the old drive failed you use the old backup for the new drive restore the old image to the new drive then you will get your apps etc back

Hi I pressed delete partition on the drive with the most GB that bitlocker is installed on in set location to install windows page, step 3 or 4 I think, I pressed delete partition on that because I wanted to progress through the installation, i purchased the computer second hand without bitlocker recovery key, i don't want to lose access to that drive bitlocker is installed on and want to use my computer fully functional please i hope that all makes sense please can someone help me Thankyou so much
3 things to take away from this video. 1. Backups are vital. You should always have multiple up-to-date backups of all your valuable data. One backup on an external drive, one in network attached storage, and one in cloud storage. 2. Take heed, criminals! There's no such thing as data deletion; most, if not all, of your data can be recovered with specialist software. The only surefire way of losing your data forever is destroying the drive(s) on which it is stored. 3. Volume labels are a thing. If you're going to insist on using multiple drives, be sure to give these drives clear, descriptive labels so you know what each drive is used for and what type of data you intend to store on each drive. This way, you can avoid making the same mistake shown in this video, or other similar mistakes that you'll regret for the rest of your life.

Every Friday I backup my iPad and iPhone and then to view EVERYTHING from the backup or the iPhone I bout Macroplant as it’s a godsend, just ask my ex-wife LMMFAO. I have 9 devices in my house but my pride and joy is my huge server. I backup my machines to the server. I’ve been thinking of swapping my Dropbox out for something else. It’s Pricey here in Canada. The research took me too a software that I can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s $2.80 a month, unlimited speed, unlimited space, and my favorite, direct connect from Dropbox to the new one so seamless backup. What about you all, anyone find a better option to Dropbox? Feel free to share. 🤪🤪🤪
@@pwrmngr Lol. I permanently lost half a terabyte of data in early 2019 after a Windows installation went horribly awry, so backups are extremely important to me.

I love but may look around. 🤪🤪🤪 Wow that would make me sick losing that. I forgot to add that whenever I’m doing anything big on my machines, I use my iPhone and take a ton of pictures or start the video maker. Lately I’ve been using iobit backup software, it’s free, not a cpu pig and I run it all the time.

hello sir . i sent 2 cloned ssd and hdd to a friend of mine who had issue with his hard disk not booting up . i changed some setting so his old disk somehow is working but non of the new disks i sent booting !? i tried almost everything i knew. i try to troubleshooting with windows dvd ,changed every single option on Bios ... tried even to create a drive there and install fresh windows but all failed . each disk hold 1tb data nd he is in another country so i really stuck . seems the only way is format both disk install fresh windows nad install 2 tb data all over again which is like suicide to me lol . wud you plz help ? ssd is done as GPT and hdd is MBR . thanks a lot mate

I went on to try the app to see if it would work but then again in open a new web page wanting $59 now. I never did find out if its works. Yes I do understand you have nothing to do with the price.

If you only have 1 drive, could you use hiren's boot cd, and within the bootable flash drive, load up minitool partition wizard?

I messed up and deleted all my drives. Don’t know how to fix it now, got the recovery disk, but it hasn’t been able to fix it this time.
