Unfortunately when disk platter is not moving properly in accordance with head, then this error is shown, cyclic redundancy error.

Opened up the PC and reset/reseated the wire connections to the HD. Worked for me ! Became allocated again. The hint was when I used a data recovery program and it found nothing, I figured something else was wrong.

I was creating a partition on my hard disk but before that, it is unallocated. There are files in the unallocated before creating the partition. After the new partition is created, all the files are deleted. Can i use this method to recover those files?

I accidently deleted one partition, which got unallocated, then I merged it to the other partition, this was the reason my hard drive's important data got lost. Then I tried a software, iSumSoft Data fexir, which recovered my whole deleted data. BUT BUT BUT
All the data which I recovered was of exact size, but as it had all the pictures and videos to it, it seems to be not opening shown not supported format or might be corrupt. I was afraid to do anything more so as of now, I sent to a data recovery service.

I deleted B and merged it to A
now in A, our of 700 only 500 gbs were filled, if I try to unallocate the data from A(now combined A+B) then which sectors will get unallocated, might come from A's part too?

Hi, it didn't work in my case of external hard disk. Previously, I accidentally "create recovery files" in external hard drive so the volume got replace by recovery volume, and then I delete recovery volume and make new partition so the hard drive have full volume again. after I try your method, it only appear the latest partition, meanwhile it didn't show previous partition full of data and the recovery one. How do you think I should do? I have really important data inside and now gone can't be recovered. Is it possible to recover it or have to go to professional? thank you before..
