Where do I buy the wide body kit at for my 04 CL 500?
If both 500 and 55 were fully stock would there be a sound difference? I feel like I want a 55 but 500 is much cheaper and insurance but is the cl55 much more aggressive in sound? Would a cl500 sound growly with a straight pipe/sports cat? Thanks.

Yes they are.
Just came across your video and champ I'm telling you that's a monster. I do have a question though. What's the difference between the cl500 and cl55 as is?
The engine for the CL55 03-06 had build, supercharged, ported and tuned. The transmission is adjusted for performance. Suspension and exhaust is beefier. Easier to upgrade and get 600-700hp out of the supercharger.

What do you mean? This is the supercharged compared to the regular 5.0. Do you mean the supercharged AMG vs the naturally aspirated AMG?
Yo man! I’m in Ohio too and I have a CL500 and was looking into getting a wide body on the car. But idk the whole process. Would appreciate if you can explain the steps .

Stock one had better stance lol can the 55 get any lower without discomfort?
The only issue with lowering it is my darn driveway! The curb catches the front bumper lip.

@@frockoff1 In just the wide body kit, $4500 in parts and supplies. Labor I did myself. The shop will cost $4000 plus to do it. I asked around first. Coilovers were $1300. Labor I did myself. Shop will cost about $1500 to install. Borla cost $500 for parts and labor. Longtube headers cost $2500 plus $600 to install. Approximately.

Tell me how you modified the cl55 spoiler that looks nice how you modified it and made it fit the under side of the bumper
Thank you. That involved measuring and trimming the spoiler down to fit the length and angle that I wanted it to sit. Then I drilled the needed holes and attached three bolts/nuts. Painted it to the desired color to match the car accent.

did the widebody require just swapping the bumpers and fenders or did you have to use rivets?
It involved cutting out the OEM quarter panel. Installing rear quarter panels. Rivet or attach by whatever means. I used panel glue bonded and held with screws until dry. Front fenders, hood, front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper. A lot of refinishing and fiberglass work.

@@M_InThat5 A pretty extreme setup. Front 20x10.5 ET18 & Rear 20x12 ET42 w/spacers all the way around.

Thank goodness, no.
If it’s the 722.6 tranny it’s usually fixed by changing the conductor plate and using a scanner equipped to erase transmission codes.
