So cool to see that Piaggio Royal Gull. (Blue seaplane). I remember overhauling those props years ago. Counter-rotating pusher props with beta range for ground and water handling. It was pretty hard to wrap my head around the angles to set. I had to call Hartzell's guru Ed Stanley for a little guidance. Good times.
ya, I always come to Airshowstuff to watch a gorgeous RV9A with a yellow tail and Canadian registration. This time I left before the show on Saturday... nothing from then uploaded... yet.😉
big round of applause and gratitude to all of the even workers, esp the ATCs...must have been exhausted and a touch of windburn..but job well done folks..
This is the first time I have seen this design, although I have been following all types of aircraft since ancient times,I'm afraid it's stolen from a new patent.

fantastic eaa departures seeing the airshow and seeing all of the airshow
That Piaggio P136-L2 was cool. Pretty rare bird.
Very. There were not many made to begin with and only a small percentage of them are still airworthy or even exist.
Gotta love those 195s
Absolutely!
6:36 Matt Younkin's Beech 18! I love to see it! The sound those Pratt and Whitney R-985's make is wonderful. Awesome video
Fantastic capture! I was there at the show, and the air displays were mind-boggling. I loved the 600-drone night show at AirVenture the most!
I got to attend this year, and was watching a lot of these take offs in person. A lot of fun, great people and a great environment.
Love the 136, always liked its land plane brother the 166 too.
Oh that Mustang in RAF colours! Stunning!
Aye you got me! N8239Y! Thanks!

I’m looking for Saturdays after airshow departures. I was the first plane off 18R and would love to see a video of that. N346RV, a Vans RV6A.

matt younkins beech is absolutely gorgeous
3:30 perfect example of just how impactful flaps are and why they aren't usually retracted so low
Good eye, Brother.

3:48 Brazil ❤🇧🇷✈✈✈
Haja chão pela frente
That's a LOOONG drive home!
Wasn't that 195 listed for sale recently?
Did you happen to get arrivals on 36 around 11-12 on Wednesday or departures on Thursday after the airshow on 18?
At least there wasn’t a traffic jam.
Was the James in the Ercoupe?
Do they still call it a "tail number" when it's all letters and no actual numbers?
Couldn't hear the reply to the i/d of what the blue twin-pusher amphib was - does anyone know?
Piaggio 136 Royal Gull

And in the end, a man and his pillow fly off on new adventures.
So many aft C.G's lol
shame about the music :(
The first one is just pure sex.
The one thing I hate at air shows is hillbilly musinc blaring everywhere. I'm there for the airplanes, not the yokels.
I am sure ASCAP or BMI would like to know of this public use without paying royalties. but it is very irritating when they play ANY music at airshows.
