WOW... So happy to see me and you Steve together in the video (19:52)... Thank you very much! You made a dream come true... All the way from Brazil to meet you and mission accomplished! Wish you, Sara and Josh the very best...
Hey we made the video at 20:14 It was such a nice experience meeting Steve and his willingness to talk about the plane and share his knowledge! Such an authentic dude! Thank you Sarah for keeping his online presence active, such a great person to fallow. If we were building a new STOL wildwest is the best. Thank You Again!
Nice video editing Sara.. You made it interesting and kept my attention from beginning to end (which is a great accomplishment with todays short attention spans).. Thank you both for sharing this great event.. 73..
Excellent video Sara and Steve! So many cool shots, especially liked the Go Pro in cockpit/in flight perspective. And zero to 130 in seven seconds, wow! Well done you two.
I absolutely loved this video. From the content to the still shots it's spot on and makes me feel like you guys let me hang out with you both. I'm curious about the 3 cylinder engine Steve spoke of in the airplane. Did it originally get developed for snowmobile applications like rotax?
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! The Sidewinder is a snowmobile engine. Skytrax makes a gearbox, and Wild West Aircraft makes an engine mount so it can be used in airplanes. -Sara
Fun, thanks. Your in flight sound would be much better if you position the mike at the corner of your mouth so you speak across it instead of breath-popping/blowing into it.
I understand lifting the tail but I guess I don’t understand pointing the prop at the ground? What’s the point of that? Steve doesn’t need to lift the tail he just powers it right into the air! That prop is crazy!!!
I’m guessing you’re talking about the Storch. I don’t know if Levi experimented with different methods of taking off in his airplane and found that to be the best or what. When I was flying lower powered planes than I am now I brought the tail up to reduce drag while accelerating to takeoff speed.

Good morning from Minnesota!! Great episode!
Great video, thanks!
Very nice job!!
Met and had a good conversation with Josh at OSH mostly about small Continentals and taildragger 150s. Good dude!
❤ Good job @Sara22...
Very COOL! Was hoping to get to meet y’all this year. I’m a friend of Levi’s.
Incredible aeroplane! 0 - 130 in 7 seconds! And 5m for take off. Wow
Very cool
I think steve Henry’s plane is identifying as a helicopter 😅😅😅
😂
The view from the tower gives you a better perspective on how big Oshkosh is
This is the way you should look at it, it's a competition on who could put on the best demo lol
I’ve kinda kept up with this STOL flying because I wanted to see what kind of new tech would get introduced. 5 blade prop is pretty cool
Did he say it has more thrust than it weighs? Can we please see a max climb video / vertical climb video?

Fun video. Was that an actual Fiesler Storch OR one of the Czech postwar continuation aeroplanes.
Fun, thanks. Your in flight sound would be much better if you position the mike at the corner of your mouth so you speak across it instead of breath-popping/blowing into it.
Off the subject, what kind of camera, microphone and editing software do you use. The sound is great, no wind, Clarita is crisp. Thank you.
That airplane didn't "take off" that prop simply sucked it into the sky.
Red Bull Carbon Cub wasn't in this event?

Where's Mike and Draco with his I think 680 HP reverse thrust bush plane he can show them how it's done
Let me know when you want another roll of 1" Neon Yellow Tire Tape.
Hi Stan, I would like another roll of it. I let my friends use it too. Thank you.
That’s not a plane that’s a horizontalcopter
It's 4 weeks since AirVentrue 2024. There's 47 weeks 'til the next one. I'm feeling the withdrawal. I need help. 🤦♂
I am dreaming to visit Oshkosh air show, but my be not in this life.
That's not a STOL aircraft that's almost a VTOL aircraft!
That poor charge air cooler.
Yeah, it got beat up by the four wheeler, which got loose in the trailer on I 70 across Indiana. I think it’s the the roughest road I’ve ever been on!
@@SteveHenry Oh, that's a bummer. Seems to work alright, though.
Awesome video, as always!
Do a drug test on pops................NOW🙏👍😳
I really want to see Scrappy do some STOL flying! @mikepatey
