My parents got me the Apple Tree House back in 2011 for Christmas. I still got that set displayed in my bedroom, I'm glad I was there to get these kinds of Creator House, nowadays the Creator Houses are really sweet but they are too small for me, and in general older Creator sets were more complex and felt complete. A kid could pick up some minifigures from some other sets or polybags if he wanted to roleplay with those sets

I would argue 4993: Cool Convertible and 4896: Roaring Roadsters deserve to be on this list. They came out within 2 years of eachother and we honestly haven't seen simple vehicle-focused creator sets this good since

I agree with you. The mini modular buildings are great. I like how it provides decent detail at a reasonable price.

Those sets are alright but they aren't my favorite type of sets, I prefer minifigure scale stuff.
