You’ve gained a new fan today. My cat, Minerva, plunked herself on my lap and watched through 3 videos with rapt attention, occasionally patting the screen with her paw until she nodded off(likely dreaming of concocting her own delicious cocktails). Her morning routine usually includes watching videos with mice, birds and squirrels before she has her nap. Today she found out she likes watching Anders make cocktails. 😊
Was just going through your past sparkling wine videos to get inspiration for NYE so this video is well timed. Definitely looking forward to trying that champagne cocktail riff!
Brambubble looks divine! I’ve got huckleberry liqueur from the PNW it will be perfect in this one. Cheers and HNY to you both! And the pooch of course! 🥂🐾
Love your videos so very much! Happy new year Anders, Az, and doggo! And to the entire Anders Erickson community as well! Wishing you all a wonderful 2024!
Hi Anders….I can’t start the weekend without going “to the bar”🥃🍸🥂…such beautiful and festive drinks, you never disappoint!👌👌👌😁😁😁😁….”Enjoy your weekend, CHEERS & Happy New Year!!🎊🎊❤️❤️
I was just reviewing your video on the French 75 because some friends and I are planning to make them for New Year's eve. I think we'll be playing that video as we make them to ensure we're doing it right.
Got my first shaking tin for Christmas because ive got so interested in cocktails due to this channel! Thanks for my new hobby and Happy New Year to you all!
Thanks for making my year brighter! Your videos have helped me learn respect for alcohol and its history and traditions, which has helped me drink with greater moderation. Happy New Year! -Hope
That last one might be good with a blackberry simple syrup. Since I happen to have a little bit in my fridge still along with some bubbly there may need to be some cocktails tonight.
I was skeptical. For me, a champagne can be a lot simpler. I really enjoyed Alspice Dram and Prosecco at Christmas. But my husband decided to have some fun with our bottle tonight and made two of your suggestions. Both are wonderful, but the Bram-Bubble is now in our regular rotation. Fabulous. A Sbagliato Negroni was also a fine use of the Prosecco.
Thank you for all the inspiration throughout the year and especially for this video. I have a gathering of friends and family on New Year’s Eve to celebrate my self made bar and this is a perfect set list. Happy new year 🎉
I'm wishing you guys a Happy New Year, and thank you for all the amazing cocktails 🍸 I can say your channel helped me with cocktail parties 🥳 and nights out with family and friends, so once more think you and Happy New Year.
Thank you for exposing me to the world of cocktails. My bar has grown twn fold because of your channel. Happy new years from an Illinois to Wisconsin transplant!
Would not that be with Creme de Cassis then? Which, to be fair also soudsn very delicious. Speaking of: I HAVE creme de Cassis, but not creme de mure, so I might as well go fir the Kir 75 Thanks for your suggestions ^^"
Hey Anders, thanks for all your great videos. Just wondering if you have tips for a first time cocktail party host. Feeling a little overwhelmed thinking about making everyone drinks and still being relaxed enough to enjoy myself. Any advice on how to be a cool and relaxed host, while making great drinks?
I don't really drink all that much alcohol and certainly don't have a bar at home - or even just some if the ingredients and tools - but I really enjoy watching your videos. They are fun, informative and just nice to watch. Happy New Year which 🎉 and cheers to many more videos.
Anders these all sound and look spectacular!!! Your channel is always a gift!! Amazing to watch and your humour rocks!! Hey is there a wedding in 2024?!!! Sorry to ask something that might be private! Marriage is fabulous!! At 59 I look back to marrying at 25 and it just got better and better! I think being a psychologist helps!! Communication is key!! Listening attentively to each other!! Hugs!! Happy 2024!!!
Happy New Year Anders! Btw, do you know about the "Seelbach Cocktail"? I have no idea about its origin, but its also a sparkling drink. 1 Part bourbon, half part grand marniere, 7 dashes ango and 7 dashes Peychauds bitters. In a chilled flute, top off with champagne. A bitter drink, but one of my favorites. Cheers anyway!
I’d say a Mure 75 but that’s also a bit pap….. maybe a Framboise 75 if using raspberry? I don’t know….. I do know I’ll be making all of these though! Happy New Year!
Brubble...? Better stick with Brambubble. Thank you for all the wonderful videos and recipes! I've been curating my bar and recipe book largely from your channel. Learning so much!
Happy New Year! And thanks for your fun and informative videos! I had already planned to make Harmony Royales for me and my folks today, but having (finally) bought a pair of flutes to workshop that cocktail beforehand I may give one or two of these an out-of-season try. Here's an alternative name for the Brambubble (since you asked): the F-ronce 75. 😂
A word about the sugar and why it releases those bubbles. Mr Arnold at Liquid Intelligence explains really well why this happens. And also why the flute is the proper glassware to drink Champagne . Also recently I realise that while I like bramble.... I LOVE blackberry smash. Which is a bramble with smashed Blackberries on the bottom of the glass (like 2-3 per glass) so I will try the Brambubble smash as well :D Happy new year fellas. To many cocktails and happiness
Hello, I just stumbled upon your channel and I'm loving everything I've seen so far. However, my little lady is a recovering alcoholic. Has been for 6 years and running, which I'm so proud of. Do you have any mocktail recipes so I can make some for her? Thank you! Happy New Year!
I recommend the Kir Royale, I serve it at the bar I work at with the following specs: On a champagne glass 45 ml crème de cassis Top it up with Brut A thin lemon peel coil and a picked cherry for garnish
I would consider Bramb-ble and Bubble-ble to be more pleasant-sounding possibilities. But that's just me . Or perhaps a simple Bubble-Bramble as a tribute to Bubble Bobble. Also, I'm definitely making this one, whatever it ends up to be called.
Happy 2024! Been following your channel for a few years now, love it & fired up my passion for making cocktails for my friends. I live in HK and the cocktail bar scene here is expanding at a fast rate, all high end but happy hours are good enough to go on adventure every weekend! if you have the time & money, defo a place to visit for all sorts of cocktails from all over the world & also cocktails with an Asian twist. Any chance of doing a vid on a Gibson? (if you haven't done one already?)
1) If I'm not mistaken, most Puerto Rican rums (at least the big sellers) are actually Cuban rums that fled the revolution. If that makes you feel better about your rum choices. 2) I think brambubble is great, it lets you know e x a c t l y what you're in for. I knew when I peaked at the chapters what it would be. And it did not disappoint.
Thank you for thios year Anders and Happy New Year form a Swede in Hong Kong! I had actually just finished dinner preparations and sat down to wind down with your video with a Champagne cocktail in hand, It is one of my goto cocktails if I happen to have Prosecco or Champagne around, or if im dining out. i always have made it the way you do (with cognac), it took me almost 10 years after my first taste of theis cocktailbefore I learned that the original was without cognac. A nice twist is to swap the cognac for a young, fresh calvados to give ot a hint of fruity apple - Im using a cheap Boulard since the cheaper ones often have a bit of freshness to them. I do believe its better to skip the lemon if using calvados.
Happy New Year! I found your channel at Christmas when I was searching for an updated Tom and Jerry recipe to compare to the way my family makes ours and I have been binge watching you ever since! You’ve inspired me to work on my Old Fashioned recipe, better quality bitters and cherries have been ordered! I have a question for you, if nothing excites you on a bar menu do you have a go to drink order when you visit bars? Just curious if you have a drink you lean towards or prefer when someone else is doing the mixing.
I'm here a bit late, now after the NYE. I ended up mixing drinks for our gathering of friends and family, maybe 15'ish people. It was fun and entertaining making drinks all night. I had 10 drinks on the menu that I was offering from some basic ingredients.
Love these recipes. I did a touch of spice - sparkling wine, a quarter oz of Mama Juana and angostura bitters. I made the Mama Juana with dark rum and it's so lovely on its own or with tonic, I thought it would be interesting in a little champagne cocktail.
Love your series. Have only in the past couple of years gotten into different kinds of drinks. How about a show talking about the different popular kinds of bitters, and how to use them? Tiki bitters? Chocolate bitters? Thanks!
This is so funny, I JUST NOW got home from the store with the ingredients for a champagne cocktail, which I got from your video from two years ago. I bought a bottle of Pierre Ferrand cognac, a couple of bottles of Borrasca Brut, and I had to go to two different supermarkets just to get sugar cubes, of all things (I've already got the Angostura). I'm also going to be doing the "French" and "Irish" versions (from Ultimate Bar Book by Mittie Hellmich), which substitutes créme de cassis and Irish whiskey for the cognac, respectively.
I just took an airborne cold medicine tablet in water and the sugar cube bubbling in the wine looks similar. I imagine if you let it sit for longer it would continue to dissolve like the tablets do and get less dry
Thanks for a fun year on the channel, everybody! Happy New Year! 🍾
Could you possibly make a video of milk clarified cocktails?
@@johnathondickey1946 I like the idea
Happy new year guys!
Happy New Year guys! You've upped my home bartending skills greatly. Appreciate.
Cheers y Salud!!! P.S. The background music on this video is LEGIT!!! Who performs that jazzy cover of Auld Lang Syne on the outro?
Happy New Year to all, and thanks to Anders and Az for crafting such an enjoyable, entertaining, and uplifting weekly experience. Cheers!
Another amazing year Anders!! Best to you and the whole family for 2024. PS - Az gives away what she loves with her eyes! haha

Great video (as usual)! Just my two cents on a name (although I have to admit Brambubble is pretty clever): Ronce 75 (Ronce: French for bramble)

Making the Brambubble for New Years Eve! Thanks
Call the Brambubble “Le Mûre”. It’s French for bramble(blackberry)
Happy New Year you guys thanks for all the good times and please keep doing what you're doing. Be well and have fun.
The Bram 75? That looks sooooo good, aaaand I NEED to make the Airmail 😍 I do live for a beautiful daiquiri
Happy new year! The "Bram 24" would be a catchy name I think, in celebration of the new year.
You went all out for the Champagne. That is a nice one that I have not had. Call the last drink a berry 75.
I'm new to the channel. Tried these tonight and I'm delighted with them. Great work and all the very best for the new year. Fantastic!
bramboozle. Alternate name.
Thanks for the education.
Happy new year Anders! Just tried the Brambubble and its fantastic!
Thanks Anders for a great year of content. I've learned so much from you! Cheers and a belated happy new year! Not too late to say that right?
Brambubble? I love it!!!😊
Happy new year and many blessings to you and that lovely camera women-Az ❤❤
Thanks for all your videos mate! :)
Hope i can strat mixing this year haha
We did this twice today - once with Angostura bitters, the second with Cardamom bitters. The latter was even better…
Just made the Brambubbles (with Chambord) and it was delicious
I made an Prosecco cocktail on Wednesday that will be the New Years cocktail special
For the last drink, I feel like French Bramble would be an appropriate name.
Love all the information in addition to just the recipe for the drinks. Great job!

Today I made Champagne Cocktail and Porn Star Martini.
I might be adding the brambubble to my cocktail list. Cheers!
Brambubble definitely should be renamed to "Cham-ble"
I just took an airborne cold medicine tablet in water and the sugar cube bubbling in the wine looks similar. I imagine if you let it sit for longer it would continue to dissolve like the tablets do and get less dry
Id call it a Bramble Spritz. Nappy Hewyears!
Happy new year! Will have to try with one of the bottles of sparkling wine I got!
Happy New Year from Belfast - really enjoy the channel 👍
I'm so tired of the end of the year stuff. Ready to have a toast and get back to routine. Thanks for these.
Love the videos Anders! Do you make any infusions? Would love a video
A happy new year from Belgium Anders ;)
A very thoughtful release, and great timing!
I’m going to sub crème de cassis for the bran bubble.
A sugar cube = how many ounce pour of simple or Demerara?
great combination of cocktails.Love your channel
Brambubble.. or Chamble (soft c)?
The Bramench 75….how about that
