Love your videos, you are so comfortable in that little plane, its fun to watch. You make me want a Quick so bad. I live in Oklahoma, used to have a PPG but its so windy here I couldn't fly it very often. Wish I had bought one of these instead. I'm 69 and wonder if too old to learn another skill, sure want to.
Enjoy watching your channel, I am purchasing a used ultralight next week and am rebuilding it. Hopefully I can overcome my fear of heights and learn how to fly it.
I like to fly 20 minutes to a nearby airport cafe for pancake breakfasts with friends. This afternoon, half way back, I made a precautionary landing due to engine trouble, and they came with a trailer for my bird. 4 hour later, she was all reassembled back in the hangar. Shout out to Tony, James and Charles! Thanks guys.
I would say if there’s anyone you know close by with a two seat legal quicksilver I would recommend flying with them just to get the feel of it. If that is unavailable then I don’t really have good advice. Sorry . Thanks for your comment
Nice video! I noticed that your Hall is reading 20MPH. What is the stall on that Quicksilver. 18? I noticed, though it is hard to tell, you are flying with a bit nose up?
I like to cruise around to local Airports and find rivers and railroads that lead to areas I'm familiar with. Eventually I'll get the courage to land in remote areas. I just posted a video that covers my first 50 mile circle. I like to post my milestones but eventually I'll run out of challenges I can post. Then I'll be in your predicament. Love the videos and the narration! I'll stick to my captions until I can work out all my content issues. I'll be up on Sunday hopefully with another cool flight to edit. But we shall see.
Instead of carrying around those weight bags to compensate for CG, can you relocate the seat more forward or relocate the battery also? I am looking to order the same model Sprint but I only weigh 140 lbs and have concerns for so much ballast up front degrading the UL performance.
Some of my favorites were the roll of toilet paper, snow ball and the paper airplane but what I watch and look forward to the most is your take offs and landings and how you use the stick, rudder and throttle. I'm looking forward to finding out what's up with your bird also
I never get tired of your flights. Your area reminds me of how the Redlands of south Fl looked back in the 80's. As for content ideas, I have none but will keep watching what you do put up here 🙂
How about a full cross-country flight to a nearby airport, from takeoff at home to landing at the airport? You could talk about a few of your past cross-country flights while you're in the air.
My favorite thing to do when I am flying is buzzing cut hay fields, my ole mx at 30 mph with the ground effect, hopping over fence's,creeks, and power lines,, they should have let Nicola Tesla do his wireless energy grid then we wouldn't need power lines and poles.. love flying the Quicksilver aircraft..
Flying PPC I like to get low (relatively) over the river and bigger creeks. Local lake? High above it, local folks like to see a view of a familiar site from a new perspective. >>>Find another pilot to fly with and new cockpit audio and ideas will come. Always enjoy your stuff bro.
Trying to explain what it's like to non flying people is beyond words. It's something they have experience to be able to understand. The toilet paper drop is good. Don't recall if you ha e tried dropping balloons. I've heard it's quite difficult. For those that haven't got a T-shirt yet, they are nice, especially the blue one.
I did a paper drop on the channel before not from 5000 feet. I have done balloons before but didn’t document it. I will probably be doing that at some point. Glad you like the shirt thanks for the pitch 😊
Really like your videos!
👍 thanks
Nice ride n nice flight...I miss mine, maybe I should get another one

That’s great! What brand?
Good
👍
Suggestion...Take down a 40 foot section of the fence and install a cattle guard crossing. That flare over the fence made me nervous. Great video.
That sounds like a good idea but I think it would be costly

What is your best advice for safe flying? Just bought one and only getting it in October. But haven't flown for ages

Don’t know how accurate the airspeed indicator is. I fly a lot on feel of the slipstream

CG could be moved around I’m sure but it wasn’t my vehicle so I just added weight for the time being when I flew it
Can you tell me where you got the wind reducing fur cover for your Mike please? Thanks
Got it off of Amazon.

How about visiting other nearby grass strips?
I don’t have really have any other grass strips that are considered runways nearby. But I have different landing areas I go to.
Are there many other aircraft flying in your area? That is a concern in my airspace. Really have to keep eyes everywhere. Have a greatfall!
No there’s only one other one that I know in a 30 to 40 mile radius. Where do you fly

Do you have a glider propeller for sale?
No
Sans parachute 🤔😢 , là je suis pas d'accord , vu la valeur de l'homme dont 💙 ] Dieu [ 💙 a crée
Faut pas faire trop confiance à ces 👍coucou volants 👍
I want to see you drop a toilet paper roll 🧻 from 5000 and see how many times you can cut it with your wings before it hits 1000
