For real, 50℅ boosted rate on character you chose is bad. There is worse 50℅ chance to get salty despite being well prepared. I'd hope Mica will follow Snowbreak dev who allow players to get 100℅ rate to get the chosen character in exchange slightly more expensive resources
It's going to be rough coming from Arknights where the statistical average SSR is 1 in 34.5 pulls to this where it's 1 in 53 pulls. This could be offset by more abundant gacha currency though *copium*.
Never played 1 but in 2 it feels less like they abandoned him and more just the MC getting fed up being used as a pawn of the government and PMC and split off, while all the other girls kind of just each hung on to the PMC for as long as possible before each realizing Griffin wasn’t what it used to be anymore and each just going their own path
As someone who used to play the CN version, the only thing I dont like about this game is that, few units arent "complete" without dupes. Rather than made a unit with A B C abilities that are usable and will get stronger with dupes, mica made that unit's B or C ability practically useless without dupes it is wasting time n resource to raise them. Also, Clukay is too strong she rendered all other grenadier in the game invalid.

A lot of Freudian slips in this one 🤣 The graphics in this game are next level for the anime artstyle, gonna be looking at those character models and skins for hours lol and the animations are crazy good. One thing I'm hoping is that the questionable narrative choices from CN launch won't exist in global come release and it starts with something that resonates with players. It really did a number on the game at the time. What I'm happy with is that they stated the global version will follow a 1 year lag from the CN version to ensure the quality of experience remains high. Looking forward to finally playing this come launch!
The floor was a little slippery. They needed a sign stating "wet floors." The graphics are genuinely incredible, and I also hope CN's issues don't translate over to the Global launch. But they rarely do.
From actual CN version that we getting they ironed many problems. They rewriting bad story events (and NTR was smallest problem of that crap) and make it more chronological. CN was simply 6 month beta XD

@@AntagonisticArtichoke if you read the translated script of the "ntr" story, there wasn't even romance involved. it was literally cuck victim wannabes grasping at straws and self inserting into their delusions to fulfill their dreams. all that happened was doll stayed in a town, talked to an npc, found out he was a terrorist, convinced him to turn himself in. since he's a man, therefore ntr??? the best explanation they can muster is that is that they spent long hours of delulu detached from gameplay, lore, or reality, making up their headcanon about her in gfl1, since she basically doesn't exist in the story in the first game, the dolls are canonically not even romantic partners with the commander at all, so you can't even be cucked even if they actually did sleep around. not to mention they are robots there are tons of gameplay situations that also remind you gameplay doesn't even remotely align with the story. there are playable dead characters, playable characters that never met you, playable characters that that should be MIA in the story, and one-of-a-kind dolls can be duped. there are even playable dolls that are supposed to belong to other people or have canonical ships with male npc as a joke. despite all this, you can literally still slap a ring on and pseudo "marry" hundreds of copies of all of them. you can go as far as setting them as your assistant on the home screen to contradict canon with their mere presence at your base its absolutely derranged to make up ntr claims and then complain about it knowing all this

I remember hearing about these games and thinking they'd be a slam dunk for an FPS like CoD, or a TPS like Gears, but somehow we're still stuck on Xcom time? I dunno lets get some deep and complex gunplay if we're gonna have all the characters being the manifestation of all the classic guns.
I am a big fan of grid tactics game like FF tactics, X com and alike. I am also a degenerate so loving anime waifus comes naturally. As such, I am definitely gravitating to playing GFL2. However, there is one thing that makes me hesitant from committing..... the GACHA. How good or bad is GFL2's gacha system? Does it have a pity system? Can I survive as an F2P/Low Spend player? What is the currency and how little does the game give out for free? Is it as merciless as FGO? or is it as merciful as ZZZ? I used FGO and ZZZ as examples because these 2 are the only gacha games I have ever played.
ngl the whole interactions in the Dorm feels like meh, I kinda wish there's more interaction, not just one click with just one interaction, not sure about CN side tho
Suomi is a must-have character; it can make your gaming experience 100 times better. In future updates, the character HK416 will be released. This character can reduce the game difficulty by 99%, and most stages can be easily cleared using auto-battle. - This is the experience from a CN server player.
I have mixed feelings about this game so far. The XCom like gameplay has a ton of potential to be awesome but there are a lot of mechanics that are red flags for me. P2W pvp, hoyo-gacha, hoyo-equipment grind, weapon gacha, multiple paid battle passes, $20+ skins, low difficulty with auto battle which makes even compelling gameplay boring (again coping that end game will be good), etc.... I mean I wouldn't give it a serious rating until I really get a chance to play it but I don't know if the ceiling could be much higher than 8/10 for me. Personally I don't care as much about the girls/jiggle physics so for me the combat is going to have to make everything else worthwhile and carry this game for me to stay interested.

Genshin was my gacha gateway drug, but increasingly I like turn-based or tactical combat rather than action-oriented fighting. Aside from HSR, I've been enjoying Ash Echoes and Path to Nowhere recently. So I might try this one out as well. If nothing else, the characters certainly seem like fun.

If you've ever played xcom or any game like it, then this game will be mind numbingly simple to you. That also means that you're depending on stats a lot more than a true tactical game like xcom. Being simple is a double edged sword, as stats are much more important than actually being good at the game.
Play, no, but the story hinges on several things that happened in GFL1, and a lot of the characters are returning from the previous game. GFL2 is written in such a way that new players can jump right in, but there's some emotional payoffs that won't hit as hard if you're not familiar with the previous game.
The character textures during cutscene can be a bit weird due to how much it is, it's like delving almost to ff7 remake textures and ZZZ cell shading textures right in the middle. Making the girls look like doll creatures then again they're literally not human so I guess that checks out. It's a minor issue for me since I don't play games because of graphics so long as it's optimized. I'd rather play an optimized old graphic styled game than Triple A unoptimized ones

Well it looks like one of the worst pull systems in the industry, with HoyoGreed-style 0.6 percent rates, and characters and weapons sharing pulls. And if that weren't bad enough, it's horrendous turn-based sleeping simulator combat. Waifus are great but when the surrounding systems are based on greed and awful combat, those waifus don't mean much

She only strong like 1-2 months of her patch. Lately she starts to get phase out in boss battles.

Talking about how dark the story is, you must not have ever played the first girls frontline. That has some of the most dark and twisted story line.
HSR 2.7 is still going to be the patch I retire for GFL2. I love everything I'm seeing about this game.

If you've ever played xcom or any game like it, then this game will be mind numbingly simple to you.
That also means that you're depending on stats a lot more than a true tactical game like xcom. Being simple is a double edged sword, as stats are much more important than actually being good at the game.

Play, no, but the story hinges on several things that happened in GFL1, and a lot of the characters are returning from the previous game.
GFL2 is written in such a way that new players can jump right in, but there's some emotional payoffs that won't hit as hard if you're not familiar with the previous game.
To me the dormitory is the main game an everything else is just in the way.

The character textures during cutscene can be a bit weird due to how much it is, it's like delving almost to ff7 remake textures and ZZZ cell shading textures right in the middle. Making the girls look like doll creatures then again they're literally not human so I guess that checks out. It's a minor issue for me since I don't play games because of graphics so long as it's optimized. I'd rather play an optimized old graphic styled game than Triple A unoptimized ones

60/60 for rate up banners is overall better to pull on you have to worry about hard pity unless you are really unlucky
Hey there is some very major misinformation going on in this video that needs to be corrected. There isn't a Granblue spark system for 260 pulls, it's literally a Genshin gacha system
There's a 50/50 for limited banners, If you fail the first time you guarantee the on banner character the second time. For the weapon banners, it's a 75/25, so It's basically got the gacha system of HSR to be more exact.
One thing that's really big though, is that the daily income is 110 gems per day when normally these games only give 60, and pulls only cost 150 instead of the standard 160. So it's a lot more generous than Hoyo games, but not as generous as WuWa and it's based as fuck guaranteed weapon banners.
The 260 spark thing you saw is literally just for the standard banner. It's the same as HSR/ZZZ, where you get 1 guaranteed standard unit of your choice after 300 pulls on the standard banner, just a bit earlier. This is something all f2p will slowly work up to and get at some point within the first year.
Overall the gacha system cannot be said to be good, because the baseline Hoyo established for the industry is not good. But it is better than average and notably more generous than Hoyo gacha, and not at all the atrocious spark system that you represented the game as having

@erkasig you should try Ash Echoes or Arknight or even PtN lol, and all those skip and sweep require you to clear the content first.
That U said this game had the same level of F2P-friendliness as Wuwa and Gacha system wasnt bad is objectively wrong. The gacha rate on both types of banner in this game are so low and the weapon banner is 75/25. Not only that this game is turn based not OPEN WORLD so the amount of free pulls are inherently gonna be way less. Because the devs decide to follow this predatory gacha model from HYV, u know they are in here for the BAG. I dont think they are gonna be generous with FREE PULLS man.

Well it looks like one of the worst pull systems in the industry, with HoyoGreed-style 0.6 percent rates, and characters and weapons sharing pulls. And if that weren't bad enough, it's horrendous turn-based sleeping simulator combat. Waifus are great but when the surrounding systems are based on greed and awful combat, those waifus don't mean much
Worse is, every new unit is limited, FOMO hits hard
