I don't really play games, much less shooters. I picked up and started learning Rivals. It's friendly enough and I have a couple of supportive groups going. For them, it's a callback to a time they played a fun game, with the plus that it has marvel comic characters and references. For me, it's an opportunity to spend time with people I care about. We used to play edh often and now we barely have time to touch cards. But rivals? We make the time to play some rounds every night. What a good game.
I was examining my Radagast the Brown card today and the depiction of the character doesn't look anything like Sylvester McCoy, the outrage! Somebody boycott! The Scottish, I presume? Or Whovians?
I love the original kaladesh sets because of the themes and whole vibe of the set, hopefully aetherdrift doesn't disappoint Also love the videos keep going please
Sounds like the general backdrop will be the same, but it's the central place where the races happen for the most part. Some govermental shifts with the revolution happening might change a few things.
MTG takes inspiration from many cultures from around the world. Kaladesh has racial connotations in Hindi, the culture where the plane's inspiration came from.
I just wanted to come give you some credit because in foundations preview season with Dev you had said that Nine Lives Familiar was underrated and it turns out that you were right. it combos with "All Will be One" and is pretty nasty.th-cam.com/video/-_8p_UMKvZo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=THPS6dKfK73Uep_1
I'm sure most folks saw it. NLF is just one of those cards lots of folks haven't had time to explore yet. It just gets better over the next 4 years as more stuff can use it.

"Take time to try to enjoy stuff, y'all." Very wise words. Thank you both!
It's easy to get caught up in things and forget to just enjoy stuff sometimes.
I did not expect a They Might Be Giants reference.
Bravo sir. Bravo.
We got a kick out of it, but figured it would get lost in the shuffle of the other nonsense. :)
Snow is great..... I love the winter.
I'm fine with it if I can look at it through the window.
In order for me to care about the name change I would actually have to have interest in the set. As it is it's wacky races.set

Maybe Whovians. There's enough crossover there. :)

We do all know what they're mad at.
League of Legends is owned by Tencent. A Chinese company. China is also their biggest market. NA is their smallest market.
I'm aware. Still would make sense to follow the card game markets. But either way, they'll likely make their money.

Kaladesh was great! Why are they destroying all of the beautiful planes?
It's still there, just evolved.
MTG takes inspiration from many cultures from around the world. Kaladesh has racial connotations in Hindi, the culture where the plane's inspiration came from.
@@JeffreyGoddin Not evolved the people overturned the tyrants in power and renamed it as THEIR plane.
